What is the point of dropping bombs again? We know it is useless. If we really want to destroy ISIS, let's go on the ground. We won't, so let's get out of there. Those bombs will only generate revenge and more deads. The truth is we are spending so much money and ressources on foreign wars that we are no longer able to protect our own territory. And I just wanted to thank peoples from your respective countries for showing so much solidarity. This is really touching, particularly from peoples that constantly live with terrorism.

That was a hoax from some stupid people.

What can I answer? Your questions are just stupid and provocative. I am not denying racism againt Muslim people in Europe but anti-european racism is an issue no one can deny too. For decades, we thought that we could be an happy country by not forcing new migrants to adopt our national culture, we thought that multicultularism was "cool". Our gouvernors thought they could easily mix two populations with completely different cultures and beliefs. The cultural gap was way too big. And now we have a lot of Muslim people that are more and more religious (without being islamists) and do not accept secularism within societies that tend to be more and more secular and liberal. That can only create clashes and growing tensions. What stroke about Charlie Hebdo was to hear so many "moderate" muslims say "I am not happy about what happened but I do not feel sorry for them; they knew they were taking risks". And have you seen the video of that Jewish guy walking in Paris? And we have known the islamist danger for at least 25 years and have done nothing because we were scared to be called racist. Blaming people of Europe for what is going on is just irresponsible and dangerous. It will only boost far right. Now what is the solution? I honnestly do not know. We spent 40 years not dealing with anything, hence the mess today. And it will take time, education, money and probably new dead people before getting anywhere. France has not enough military capabilities to lead a coalition on the ground. Only Obama can, and I do not think he will. We will continue with those useless and expensive air strikes. I am not an expert but I feel like we have created such a big mess there that every decision will be a bad decision. Maybe some day, Western governments will only care about their own countries (I am joking of course).
-
Your post is so stupid it is hard to believe (it took you one reply to use the Godwin law, congratulations). You do not accept any debate, you just call people racists, you are ridiculous.
-
Unlike the US back in 2001, France and other European countries have to deal with their growing Muslim population, that has been more and more islamized over the past decades. And because of imigration and differences between "Caucasian" and Muslims regarding birth rate, the weight of Islam in countries such as France, Belgium or Holland (and to a less extent the UK) will grow bigger. And some people are already saying that Muslims will be the majority in a few decades in those countries. I am not saying it's true but this is a real issue.

I am even more afraid of what is coming next. Some people that were not ready to carry attacks yet have just seen how easy it is to kill 130 people in a western city. And we do not have to deal with foreign terrorists trying to prepared attacks in cities and countries they've never been to. We have in Europe thousands of locals people that are getting prepared, ready to hit anywhere at anytime. And far right is going to rise again. After Charlie, it is terrible to say that, but a lot of French people, unconsciously, did not feel threatened because the terrotists targeted "minorities" (journalists, Jews). Now everyone know they can be killed randomly. Us, Europeans, are paying for 40 years of total denial, being obsessed with multiculturalism.
-
140 people killed according to Paris city hall.
-
There will be local elections in two weeks. After Charlie, there were big demonstrations to celebrate "living together". I think people do no longer believe in it. That will be a big boost for far-right in France. Now what will do the coalition in Syria? What will decide Obama? He has one year left not to be remembered as the president that has not been able to destroy ISIS.
-
I remember I read an article back before Charlie Hebdo about years ending with 15 being terrible or decisive years in French history (death of Louis XIV, Waterloo, WWI, ...) ... This year has probably been the worst since WWII.
-
Around 100 deads, only in the Bataclan ... I want to cry.
-
This is just the beginning unfortunately.
-
The policemen just broke into the theater. Apparently it's apocalypse in there.

To be honnest, the only "world class player" in PSG is Motta, based on what he did before with other teams and what he is still able to do. Thiago Silva is almost a world class player but still lacks a bit of mental strength (kept crying in Brazil, his hand against Chelsea was incomprehensible). Verratti has enough to be a world class player, he showed it during the two games, it is just a matter of time. Lucas Moura has enought to be a world class player but he also still have to prove. And Maxwell is among the best players in the world at his position. Now Zlatan. He's been here for more than 10 years, he has proven a lot in one the best league in the world back then, he might the most spectacular player in the world but I am still waiting for him to deliver great performances in knock-out UCL games, which might never happen unfortunately. I do not blame him for the last game because he did not deserve the red card but still, UCL will still be a trouble when one looks at his career. So you see, I even have troubles considering Ibra a world class player. So maybe we do not have the same meaning of "world class player". The PL is the most interesting league because it has the highest density of good teams that have more or less the same level, because of the great english football atmosphere but Spanish Liga is ahead now. Only problem of Spanish Liga is that Barça and Real are so strong they crash everything but Europa League often looks like Copa del Rey in semi-finals while average english teams like Tottenham, Everton or even Liverpool never go further than round of 16 (I am talking about smaller teams like those ones, I know Chelsea won it).
-
You know that the PSG he played against with Lille had nothing to do with he played against with Chelsea. He is the best player in a league that is no longer what it used to be (probably only one club left in the Europa league round of 16). Since you don't seem to understand, I'll repeat: he is a very very good player, I am just saying that so far he is not a world class player. I am not comparing with Messi or Ronaldo but he is still far from players like Robben, Ribéry or even Drogba or Lampard back during their great time with Chelsea.
-
He proves it against QPR, Burnley or Crystal Palace. Against PSG or Atletico, he has proven much less so far. I guess he would prove even less against Real or Bayern.
-
A forum is the place to debate topics. Even you Chelsea fans do not agree with each other. If another team fans come to a psg forum without being gross or provocative, then I'll debate with them and won't ask them to consider Ibra the best player ever or Blanc a genius. I am not saying shit about Chelsea, I never said Chelsea was a poor team, I am not insulting you I am just debating with you gyus. Now if you are not capable of debating with people who do not think the same way as you, just create your own forum with you being the only member, this is the only way to have no disagreements. Too bad he did not prove it on the pitch.

My club has been after almost single good player in Europe. And when it comes to recruitment, you should not trust guys willing to pay 50m€ for David Luiz (still a mistake for me, especially with FFP). And believe me, I do not want him playing for PSG. This is a subjective judgement, but I do not like his way to be and his arrogance. And can you name a great performance he did in big UCL games (besides scoring penalties)? He is a very very good player, but not a world class player yet (he will certainly be in a few years). In his defense, it is pretty hard to show you are a world class offensive player when you're being coached by Mourinho. But even in September, you were not able to beat the 10 men of Man City. You're a super team when it comes to smaller teams, no sarcasm, this what it takes to win the title. But you have been having more and more troubles against great teams. You are right but PL is getting more and more competitive because teams from the big 4/5 are no longer as good as they used to be and now have harder time to beat the likes of Tottenham, Everton or Southampton. Because you gyus did not spend a single penny? You had so many failures with transfers ... Crespo, Veron, Kezman, Sheva, Torres, Ferreira, Wright-Phillips, Tiago, Quaresma, Del Horno, Deco, Maniche ...Not to mention how great you did with Matic: sold £5m, then bought £21m. So please stop your BS story "whe have a proper team that we almost did not spend money for ...". All those missed transfers are all it took you to pick other great players. Wow, now your point is "you celebrated much more than we did so we are better". Impressive. Just as a reminder, looks like the celebration intensity did not matter to you when Mourinho crossed the pitch to congratulate Ba. And you also come up with personal attacks, which just shows how much you have to tell about football ... I can give you the contact of my 11 years-old psg fan cousin, you guys could have a great debate together. Anyway good luck to all the other chelsea fans who really talk about football, see you maybe next year !

Hey guys, Sorry to come back just now, I know it is not very brave now Paris won. I think everything has been said about the game so I have nothing to add for the moment. Like last year, the result is the same, both times the team that deserved to pass passed in the last minutes ... Anyway, you got knocked out but you won the League Cup and will win the Premier League, not that bad. So basically Paris completely dominated the first leg, played better than Chelsea in the second leg with only 10 men and Chelsea are still better? Be honnest at least. About Diego Costa, you strangely forgot to mention how great he did during the World Cup and the Champions League. Hazard is a world class player? Against Sunderland or QPR, yes he is. In big european games, he is just a regular player. About Courtois, I totally agree with you. But the fact that he had so many chances to show it should be a big worry to you. Because without him, Paris could have almost passed after the first leg. About fatigue, sure Paris had a break during the winter, Chelsea did not. But Chelsea also had 6 days to prepare both games. Do not get me wrong, I still consider Chelsea a great team. But I feel like you're still thinking "we are the best team in the best league in the world so we are one of the best teams in the world". I love watching EPL games so I can say that this is still the most entertaining league in the world but the golden age is over for the moment. Liverpool got eliminated by Basel, you got knocked out, Man City will get knocked out and Arsenal will probably get knocked out by Monaco.
-
Hi all, Congrats for your victory, 100% deserved, Paris were awful. It's been nice to talk with you, thanks for your welcome on that forum. Good luck for the rest of your season
-
And Cabaye could replace Matuidi.
-
I feel reassured, I am not the only crazy guy when it comes to superstition As I did last week, I will go around 7:00 pm at the newsagent to bet money on a draw or a Chelsea's victory and qualification (very stupid superstition, I know).
-
I agree with you regarding the first video, 4-2 would just be a very good result
-
Don't worry, I didn't miss that, I even mentioned it above, 12 shots while counter attacking is a huge number, Chelsea could have scored much more. I was just giving my opinion about the defensive performance, not about whether Chelsea deserved to win or not
-
Actually there were two real chaces, the header from Lavezzi and the shoot from Cavani. IMO, putting pressure can consist in keeping the ball as much as possible which makes opposition players running much more (Chelsea looked very tired at the end of the game) and obliges the opponent to play very low on the pitch. What bothers me is that you're ( not you in particular) basically saying that "Chelsea played their usual game but because of Terry, Lampard and Cech's mistakes, they lost". But Chelsea usual game is based on defense and counter attacks, but in the 2nd half, I can only remember about one counter attack (correct me if i'm wrong) that Thiago Silva stopped. In the whole game, Chelsea had only 4 shoots while they had 12 against Man City. Chelsea played an offensive game from the first goal until the end of the first half, which worked out pretty well as Paris had troubles to play without having the ball; then Chelsea let the ball to the opponent, as they usually do, but this time, they did not have any very dangerous counter attack. I'm not in Mourinho's mind, but to me it looked more like an obligation than a choice. No offense but I think you overrate a little bit your defense. I just watched Man City-Chelsea highlights, as Chelsea supporters often mention that game when it comes to their defense, and not taking goals by Man City was almost a miracle. Then, don't want to sound "everyone is right, everyone is wrong", but it's hard not to be partial as you watch every Chelsea's game, you know roughly how Paris play but rarely see their games, and vice-versa (for me at least). I understand you may have "recognized" Chelsea (except for individual mistakes) but we recognized Paris too in the second half, high possession ball but not necessarily many goal chances in the game, as Paris crushed Lyon 4-0 just by keeping the ball with 4 goals on set pieces. We have been having an interesting debate about the match for the 2 previous pages, no insult, no troll, ... But as the majority of your messages are just "Fuck PSG, fuck PSG fans", "Come on Chelsea, we are the best", I understand you're bored when there are no trolls battles.

Chelsea's defense is the best in PL but what is the level of the PL attacks? IMO PL is still the best league with la Liga, and the best when it comes to the show, the game intensity, the atmosphere ... But the golden age that happened 5-6 years ago, when 3 semi-final teams out of 4 used to be PL teams, is now over to me. Chelsea were eliminated in the group stage last year, and so were Man City in 2012 and 2013 (2012 was understandable for their first participation but they even ended up behing Ajax Amsterdam in 2013) and Man U in 2012. This year, Arsenal showed they had roughly the same level as Borussia and Napoli. Even in the game in Marseille, who are terrible this year, Arsenal had troubles. They may have Ramsey and Wilshere but as French, we all know Giroud is a calamity. Regarding the "new Liverpool" and their Suarez-Sturridge duo, they have not passed any european test so far. Ok Chelsea made big defensive mistakes but mistakes are much more likely and you're really put under pressure. You could see Even Lucas Moura caused big troubles for Chelsea's defense when he came into play. For trolls, I'm just trying to analyse the diffrence between Chelsea defense on Wenesday and that in PL matches.
