This team is fun to watch! What a difference the addition of Luiz, Alonso, Kante and Moses have made under Conte. Cahill, Matic and Pedro look reinvigorated. Pedro playing better each week. Our attack is beauty at the moment. So happy with the progress. Keep the clean sheet boys and let's go into the break top of the league (with Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham dropping points this weekend hopefully). Keep the Blue flag flying high!! Come on you Chelsea!!

Keep the pressure on lads! What a rocking start. For those that thought Pedro impeeded the keeper on Hazard's goal, I do not think he was in an offside position when Hazard hit the ball. Come on you Chelsea!!

Terrific end to the weekend! Great performance. The XI on Wednesday showed the difference between that group and this XI, which is our PL XI at this juncture. Luiz has played well so far in the new 3-4-3 system. Alonso is giving us enough at LB. Not a top, top player, but serviceable and an upgrade. The attack looks sooooooooooo awesome going forward now. Pedro or Willian? Either are okay with me as long as we have Costa, Hazard with them up top. Kante and Matic are looking really good as the midfield combo. Matic roving all over the pitch, forwards and backwards now that he does not have to be the defensive mid too. We have all kind of forgotten about Oscar, Fabregas and Ivanovic (save the sighting today - and boy does he look slimmer - must be working his butt off to try to get back in the XI). Most all of us have been asking for this. I still like Fabregas but he is such a liability in midfield unfortunately. And as we all realized Wednesday, JT's days are over. I hate it. But it's the reality. Conte now showing us why we were excited back in the summer. Great game today! Great to see the high gear Chelsea back. It is so much fun to watch. Come on you Chelsea!!

Ivanovic coming on? Now? I know Alonso looks tired and may have asked off, but really? Keep the clean sheet! Come on you Chelsea!! For Moses instead?

Southampton very physical and into the match at the moment. Need to turn this back.

Moses has certainly improved our attack, along with the freedom given to Hazard. I know many on here are not thrilled with Moses, but I can see how he brings a lot of positives to the club.

This is an excellent test and not an easy match to get all three points. Starting some of the normal subs Wednesday was fine. We can see what we do and do not have. Need to come with the lineup as vs United (as most everyone has already mentioned). No Oscar or Ivanovic please. JT probably done(hate to say it but he struggled vs WHU in this system). I think the lads can do it Sunday. Come on you Chelsea!!

Play inside the box has been poor by everyone, poor touches, shanked shots, miss plays you name it. You can really see a difference between the 11-13 regular players and everyone else on our roster. Big drop in skill. Come on you Chelsea!! Make it a game here if nothing else.

Probably a question for the post match thread, but since we are pounding these guys at the moment, are you happy with where we are after 9 games under Conte and improving each week? I say, yes. Today's results have been nice so far, making a win tomorrow a perfect ending to the weekend. All three points tomorrow and we are right in the mix for top four and either three off the top if City wins or one if City draws or loses. We need a goal early to break up the 11 behind the ball Jose strategy. Or are we better to slug it out and hope for late winner? With our Backline, keeping the negative minded might be a plus. True to a degree, BUT last year's Mourinho team would be playing this match with 1.111 behind the ball and it would be 0-0 at halftime with no Chelsea shots on goal. The freedom and flow of play under Conte is a joy to watch and will only get better I think. Come on you Chelsea!!

If anyone complains about that first half effort, they should be banned Seriously, complete control all 45 minutes. Alonso is such an upgrade in all facets of the game. Luiz looking more comfortable since returning. Really like Moses this year. Lets keep Costa away from a yellow to avoid suspension vs United, keep the clean sheet and add a few more goals!!
