I blame United for the sheer luck given to them, but I don't blame them because of the situation, I blame the Swiss FA for being twats because of their reason to uphold their ban on Sion, when they were clearly in the wrong for fielding inelligable players against Celtic in the Europa League. I believe the Swiss FA need to pull their finger out, do the right thing, and ban them, unless they want to see Basel kicked out of Europe as well. My favourite upcomer Romeu is starting again... the way he has been playing lately, he has made that DM position his own... it is still very early to be convinced though, but so far I'm hugely impressed with him!

To be honest, I'd rather see us sign Hamsik than Cavani or Lavezzi because after all... he is a playmaker!

I chose Juan Mata because he has made some top quality assists this season, and also great goals... Petr Cech should also be in the list because he has kept us in matches where it has most mattered with top quality saves... and I'll be brave and say that Romeu should also be there as well...

Same here... only problem as far as Bruma is concerned, is that he doesn't want to return to us... he wants to stay at Hamburg as for Vertonghen.. if he can be as well known as Vermaelen over here, he would be a massive aquisition.. I don't see him playing for us though sadly.

Mata's primary position isn't a playmaker though... he is a winger! If we had got Modric back in August, Torres would be a much better player than he is now! Terminator X would back me up on that...

We're on a good run of form now after 3 big wins in a row, but we shouldn't get too complacent right now, because any slip up could send us down into 5th. Arsenal could easily overtake us, and Tottenham still have that game in hand... This is Wigan though, so I'm expecting a full-on win

I really do not like the idea of this... I think the media are blowing this thing all out of proportion.... I'd rather see us bring in a playmaker to help Torres mould into the team, not just sell him and make a £30m loss... that's retarded... plus, 1 year at the club is not enough time for a £50m-rated player...

That first half didn't go as bad as I was fearing... poor start to allow Balotelli to run in and score, but great set-up from Sturridge and great finish from Meireles! I'm happy to go into half time level... City haven't had a lot go their way, so I'm actually happy with that. Our passing needs to improve though, there have been times where we've tried the long ball approach into the penalty area and nothing's come of it...

This is what happens when negotiators do things behind closed doors. They like to offer the sweet talk to force them into a deal! You only need to look at what happened when they stole Robinho from us after discovering their "profound wealth"

If Chelsea have learned anything from the results given from Torres' overall form, we would NOT even think about offering them 50m... that is astronomical, and way too much! There are other strikers out there that match Cavani's ability and sell for much less than that! Just look how much Man City spent on Aguero! £35m and just look how many goals he's scored for them, compared to Torres, who joined us last January... it proves a preposterous point! This is why we falter at transfers... the asking price! When someone slaps a price tag on the player that's just way too much, we pull out of a deal... then when City come knocking, they offer much less, and suddenly there are negotiations! I don't know if it's because of the fact that City have well-paid high quality executives, or the fact that the executives we have just don't give a fuck!

I would have said "not a chance" about winning this game after losing 0-2 to Liverpool in the Carling Cup, but now that we have a couple of 3-0 wins against Newcastle and Valencia under our belts we can go into this game with real confidence! I really feel we can beat them this weekend!!
