A loan move seems a bit silly, but if it means filling up the plug hole left by Anelka then I'm all for it!
-
I agree, but I honestly believe AVB should give Torres more minutes on the pitch... I mean, come on... he's only getting 5-10 minutes at the end of every game!!
-
I'll definitely second that

5 words... "THANK GOD FOR JOHN TERRY"

I agree, we do start really slowly in the bigger matches, allowing the opposition to create good chances! And as for Bale... Brano had real trouble with him, and if he had problems, I don't want to know what happens with Bosingwa covering for him!! He can't even deal with him at right back, let alone in Brano's position!

Well, looking at that first half, all I can say, is that Tottenham are a right bunch of agressive cunts!! Both Ivanovic and Mikel have had to come off with injuries because of the horrible tackling from Tottenham And as for Adebayor... he has got to be one of the biggest twats in world football! About the game.... first few minutes we were non existant.. it was all about Tottenham's passing, and it led to their goal... we scored a great equaliser from Sturridge but Webb could have easily called handball on Cole before he had crossed the ball in!

Drogba starts, Torres on the bench!
-
We can beat the Spuds... I know we can... everyone needs to have a bit of faith! AVB makes some changes... so what!! I don't care if he changes the whole squad and puts Drogba in goal... I will follow the CFC through thick and thin! I've had to read posts like "AVB is shit, he doesn't know what he's doing" because he swapped Romeu for Mikel... Jesus some people need to grow a pair and back the team a bit more!! CAREFREE!!
-
I thought Bale was injured...
-
Why isn't Romeu starting??

I heard Arsenal were keeping tabs on this kid as well... him and Wilshere for them would be sexy as hell in the middle... ... sadly, him signing for us would leave Josh in the dark, and let's not forget Piazon!
-
Petr Cech is a warrior, whether he made a mistake against Wigan or not, he is still considered our best keeper... you must not forget that we're only half-way into the season, and in that space of time, there have been moments where Cech has made crucial saves in matches, and it's won points for us... if it weren't for him, we would be lower than 4th right now! Just because he makes one mistake does not mean people should start calling for his head! We don't need a better keeper. If we really needed a keeper, I wouldn't mind having another go with Begovic, but for now, I don't see Cech leaving! We would regret it deeply if we did decide to get rid of him! FFS he's not even in the 30s yet!

Christmas has come early!! I do hope we have replacements lined up for them mind... or even better... promote Piazon and McEachran, and give them an opportunity!

So Chelsea did have an open day... it was just at Christmas time, not at the beginning of the season!! I could have gone to it had I have known! -
Oh my god, they look like fucking twins... you could never guess there was a decade between Mata and AVB
-
Because we needed a playmaker, and we still do technically! At this point, people start telling me that we have Mata.. well... yes we do! But he's a winger, not a playmaker! Torres was a possible player out of a number of others we could have signed... Aguero, Benzema and Pato to name a few! But Torres tempted us more, and we got suckered into giving Liverpool £50m for him. Modric was the only player who was perfect for us in his position, and who declared his true desire to play for us! There was Nasri, Ganso or Moutinho in his position to go for, but none of them declared anything remotely as ambitious as Modric.
-
Fair point, Sturridge is the reason why Torres should be playing because his pace down the right can allow Torres to get into the box and get on the end of his crosses, but the trouble with Torres, is that he plays too wide, and he gets tackled too easily... with that said, Sturridge needs to be playing as a winger.

to answer your question.. no! welcome to talkchelsea dude!
-
I doubt even 'anyone' let alone just us would be able to sign Hazard in January!
-
I solely agree with TX on the fact that we, as a club should never spend astronomical amounts of money on a well-known star... just because he scores goals regularly for a certain team, doesn't mean that, if he's signed up, he will immediately gel into our squad and play fantastic. At the end of the day, it all depends on the way the tactics are set out, and how he will get on with the manager Our problem sometimes, is that we get easily suckered into big money deals... the club realise how much we are looking to sign the player in question.. they know how much money we have, so they slap a massive price tag on him to tell us to fuck off... why do you think Napoli have slapped a £50m price tag on Cavani... to tell us that "he's not for sale... so fuck off" Plus a fact, why spend millions and millions of money on players when you could give the youngsters an opportunity. Ray Wilkins touched on a very good point, "McEachran's ability could save Chelsea millions" ... if only Wilkins was still with us!
-
No fucking thanks!!
-
Absolutely spot on Steve! It baffles me as well about McEachran... all that hype of him being the next thing, and all he seems to be doing is warming a bench... he needs to be playing more games than he is... we just seem to be playing our old guard week in week out, and sometimes to have to sit back and wonder.... how long are they going to keep this up. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink said something very interesting at the beginning of the season when talking about us bringing in fresh players and getting rid of the old guard... "How long is Drogba going to be able to do this.... how long is Frank Lampard going to be able to do this" he said! Josh needs games... he is rotting on the subs bench and it's sickening me!
-
I actually agree with you there.. all we seemed to do most of the time was pass the ball around and get all laid back about it... in the second half we were merely chasing shadows (with the exception of Sturridge's goal, which was well worked)... just sit back and protect a 1-0 lead.. and play a high line... yeah, good idea BOAS!

your acusations, especially this one, are shocking!
