Derry City midfielder Niall McGinn is reported to be interesting Ipswich although Premiership giants Chelsea and SPL big-guns Celtic are thought to be keen.

Town were linked with the 21-year-old at the start of the season after scouts were spotted at a Derry match.

However, Chelsea scout Frank Arnesen is understood to have watched a Candy Stripes game recently and are thought to want to pursue their interest in the youngster.

The report also mentions Celtic in connection with McGinn.
