The first set of predictions have been collected and points awarded in Know The Score, and Mungii has already steam-rollered ahead. Massing a perfect six points in the day's only game, Aston Villa versus Blackburn (which finished 1-1), Mungii know leads both the Prediction League and Know The Score competitions. Moderate results were recorded for STEV30, BlueLion, BlueLionSenior, OllieCFC and Adam.k, whilst Elliott and DavidEU failed to gain any points. But with a full fixture programme in midweek, the scores will soon change.

And they did, quite dramatically. Elliott has raced into the lead after gaining a whopping 24 points in midweek, although the competition is very tight at these opening stages. But with a full weekend programme on offer, can BlueLionSenior make up for lost ground after failing to enter any predictions?
