BlueLion. 21,491
Wigan Away, FA Cup Another great result for Chelsea Football Club and an excellent one in particular for Mungii, who gained an incredible sixteen points from his last three predictions - Birmingham, Everton and Wigan away. This impressive run of form has seen Mungii rise to the top of the Prediction League, although T.T. continues to push for the ultimate honour of being crowned Prediction League Master 2007/08 with 90 points - the same total as his rival at the top. An off week for BlueLion saw him drop three places to fifth position and three points off the top after going into tonight's fixture top of the table. On the other hand, BlueLionSenior scored his personal record amount of points - amassing a joint-top five - to push onto 33 points and to enter the top twenty for the first time this season. However this week's big mover is TheSpecialOne who has propelled up seven places in the table up to 13th after accumulating five points against Wigan. However despite dropped points for last week's top two [blueLion and Becky], the title race is very much alive, with just three points separating first and fifth. The league's sixth placed player, Chelseasgirl, is currently eleven off the lead with 79 points although she has made leaps and bounds in the past month, moving from 12th to 6th in the space of four game weeks, with five points in midweek against Everton moving her seven clear of TrueBlue who lies in seventh. The excellent consistency of Mungii and T.T. has pushed the pair two points clear at the top - but do they have the ability to keep their lead? Find out in the next update BlueLion. BlueLion. 21,491
Reading Home, Premier League Despite another strong Chelsea performance, scoring was low in the prediction league for this midweek game. With many predicting a more open game and Nicolas Anelka to break the deadlock, they were left disappointed as Chelsea emerged victors thanks to Michael Ballack's winner - but only BlueLionSenior was left smiling after the final whistle. Gaining an impressive five points, BLS is now 16th in the table despite missing the majority of games prior to November. The only move at the top saw T.T. gain pole position as Mungii dropped points following his excellent predicting form, although still only three points seperate first from fifth, with BlueLion currently on 89 points. PaulHopkins gained his first points of the season whilst Elliott is now just three points off seventh position thanks to his two points gained this evening. Things remain as tight as ever. BlueLion. 21,491
Huddersfield Home, FA Cup BlueLionSenior claimed an impressive six points to propel himself up to 14th position in the Prediction League whilst the top five all consolidated their places at the top of the table, as all gained two points in the latest series of predictions. With little to give between first and fifth and just six points seperating those two places respectively, the next few weeks will be hugely important in deciding the winner of this season's competition.
