From: Arnesen to join Hamburg as sporting director

Hamburg have confirmed Frank Arnesen has agreed to become the club's new sporting director when he leaves his position at Chelsea.

Arnesenspacer.gif is stepping down from his role as sporting director at Premier League champions Chelseaspacer.gif at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The former Denmark international has been with Chelsea since 2005, but the 54-year-old will now move to Germany in the summer.

He has accepted a three-year contract with Hamburgspacer.gif and is hoping to oversee a successful new era in the Bundesliga club's history.
