Getting to stadium from Dorset

Morning everyone, trying to get to as many games as I can this season. Travelling to Stamford Bridge on 22/08/2024 for the Conference League Playoff. I’m heading up from Weymouth in Dorset, but can’t get the train back as they don’t run late enough. I’ll have to park outside the capital and travel in. Can anyone recommend the best way to do this? It’s my first time so it’s all a bit daunting to me. Thanks for your help

Hi

If youre not going to park in the capital, prob best to get Thameslink train from Carshalton or nearby to Wimbledon then District Line
