Chelsea academy director Frank Arnesen has admitted he would be tempted by a job with Denmark.

More changes could take place amongst the West Londoners' backroom team after Brendan Rogers switched to Watford to take up their vacant manager's position.

Rumours were rife that Arnesen had upset owner Roman Abramovich with a recent interview about the credit crunch impact at Stamford Bridge but the Dane dismissed this as rubbish on Tuesday.

However, The Sun quotes the former PSV Eindhoven man as having an interest in the national team role if Morten Olsen was to depart, or possibly even working with the current coach in some capacity.

"To head the national football team of one's own country would be an honour," he said.

"A serious offer from the Danish FA would make me consider my future."

Chelsea are in Champions League action against Bordeaux in France on Wednesday night, looking for a win that will seal their qualification for the knockout stages.
