CHOULO19 24,332 Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard has today announced his retirement from international duty.Chelsea's record holding top scorer has always served his country to the fullest of his ability in his 15 year international career, scoring 29 goals for the Three Lions in his 106 caps. Frank is one of only 8 players in history to make more than 100 appearance for England. Lampard's decision comes ahead of England's preparations for the Euro 2016 in France, thus putting an end to the rumors that the reason that Frank agreed to join Manchester City on loan was to prolong his international career.
