Orange Is The New Black

I'm 2/3s of the way through the book of this, and started watching the show yesterday on Netflix.

Quite gutted from the first episode at just how different the show and the book are.

Who else watches/reads?

I have never heard of a film version being better than the book. Ever.

The last film I watched based on a book - The Bridge of San Luis Rey - was horrifically shit. I may have to re-read the book so as to not have the film as my lasting memory of it.

And I watched the first episode of Orange Is The New Black and thought it was crap too so I don't blame you.
