Petr Cech has won the Barclays Premier League Golden Gloves for the third time.

After winning the award for recording the most clean sheets in 2004/05 and 2009/10, the Czech goalkeeper, absent for the Blues' last four games of the Premier League season, has made it a hat-trick of Golden Gloves successes.

Finishing with sixteen clean sheets, Cech has recorded the same amount of shut-outs as Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny, but having played three less games than the Poland stopper the award goes to Chelsea's number one on account of his better games-to-clean sheets ratio.

The same last happened in 2009/10, when Cech and Pepe Reina both recorded 17 clean sheets, but with Czech again having played considerably fewer games.

Congratulations, Big Pete!
