Alright lads?

Just a quick post to see how you think things are going so far this season? I really thought you'se had turned the corner when you beat Man City but was dissapointed with the Wigan game. We've got them first game of the new year so hope we do better (although I suppose we should thank them for being the catalyst that got rid of Bruce!). I've never known such a poisonous atmosphere at a Sunderland game when that last-minute goal went in - and that includes the 15 and 19 point seasons.....

Anyway, we are really happy with MON - although I know he isn't everyones cup of tea. What are your thoughts?

Good luck for the rest of the season - I'd love to see you do it but I can't see it if I'm honest.

PS - I was looking to bringing down my young son to Stamford Bridge next month - but it was going to be over £70 for tickets

Took him to Old Trafford last month and it was a bit cheaper (and closer - I'm back up in Gods Country).

I've always liked O'Neill. Seems weird seeing Sunderland having contrasting seasons... this time last year you were world beaters and now you're relegation-threatened. I fully expect a top 10 finish with O'Neill at the helm, Bruce always seems out of his depth as a manager. Best of luck for the rest of the season
