A Chelsea fan here

Hi, guys! It’s my first post here, but hopefully not the last one. Please give a minute to explain. I know that I am a stranger here, but I’ll try to make brief introduction. My name is Sotir Tilev and I am a big football fan, as all of you, and I like to watch matches, when I have the opportunity, no matter if the event is in the near stadium, or miles away, and I watch it before television, sitting comfortably and enjoying the spectacle. You know what I mean, I am sure of that. However, I am in this forum for other reason – I have a little problem. Yes, I know that everybody have such, but mine is little different. And I wouldn’t ask you for money, I know what is to work all day for your home, food and family. You can read more about my issue below, in this long letter. As I said I don’t intend to ask you for money, but still I’ll ask you for some help. I think that if I could deliver the below letter to the attention of Chelsea FC First Team footballers and Andre Villas-Boas, they may find a way to help me. But… it’s hard to connect with them. Very, very hard. So I was thinking, if I send email to the club, with plea to deliver my message to the players and the coach, the chance is that my plea will be rejected as spam. Maybe it is spam, I don’t know, but the fact is that I am still needing from little help, no matter how the message look. So if enough people are good to send my message to the club’s email, maybe they will look at it more seriously, and maybe they’ll at least give it to someone that can help me. I don’t know, but I think it’s worth the try. So my plea to you is if you can copy the message below and send it to the mail of Chelsea FC - http://www.chelseafc...,,10268,00.html ( the club’s contact form) , and telling them that you just make me favor and ask them if they could read it, and eventually if they can bring it to the attention of some of the players or to Andre Villas Boas. Please guys, give me little help with that. I’ve already sent the letter to the club, but there wasn’t response from them, so my hope is in you now.

Hi, Chelsea FC team and stuff!

I know that you are busy with your stuffs, but please take two minutes to read my message to you.

First of all I want to mention that I highly appreciate your work. The world is in great need of talented people who make it turn in the right direction and you surely are part of them.

My name is Sotir Tilev and without your help, I may become blind in nearest future. I am ordinary 21 years old man, dreaming to be a writer some day. But for now I have a bigger dream – to be able to see the world, and the every beautiful day, with my own two eyes, and my mother and my bother to be able to do the same. Shortly said, we have serious problems with our eyes, because of one nasty disease called Marfan Syndrome. You can google it and read more about it. My mother lost one of her eyes and after she almost lost her second eye, she can see with only one of her eyes, but not as well as before. She may recover her other eye, but that requires money, that I am also trying to raise. I’ve also lost one of my eyes, permanently for now, after two unsuccessful operations and many troubles. I’ve managed to go trough that without much regrets, after all this is a part of life. But now there is danger that I might need to make saving operation for my last eye, and at this moment I can’t afford a quality operation. So I am trying to find enough people, who are ready to help me, either with money, or with spreading the word so more people could read about this and maybe feel my situation and help me somehow. Every help is appreciated. The matter is urgent. And the worst part is that my brother have the same problem, but for now he is okay and his eyes are stable. I hope that he doesn’t go to moment in which he would go trough what I and my mother have been, but I’ll try to prepare for that, if the circumstances give me that possibility. You know how you wish all the bad to come to you, not to your family and that is my wish too, but I can’t make anything about that, except to try to find the help that is needed for the things to be better. So that’s the reason for which I write you. I need your help or your support, I just want me, my mother and my brother to be able to see the world as normal people see it, nothing more. To be able to walk at the street and appreciate the view, to be able to see the faces of my family and my friends. And I am scared what will happen if I couldn’t find the needed support. You can easily imagine it, just close your eyes and try to walk in your home with closed eyes for one hour – not so good experience to have. This waits for us, if I fail here, but it won’t be for hour a day only. So shameful or not, I beg you for your help, no matter financial, or other. I need it badly, I assure you. The amount that I need to raise isn’t small – 10 000$ for the cheapest eye operation, which can be made in Belgium. There are better places when it comes to such kind of operations, but the prices there are even higher – sometimes goes above 30 000$ per operation. So I am trying to raise enough money to have access to such kind of treatment for me and my bother and mother. I beg you – please help me with something. I am doing my best to raise the needed sum, I am working almost 30 days per month, I am trying to figure a way out of this and I am trying to find fine people, who can help us in this.

Now, I will ask again for your help. I don't know if I deserve it, I am good person mostly, with his dreams, his faith. I am trying to be solid and to do the best in my situation. I am confident in some situations, fearful in others, like anybody else. I am normal person like anybody else, I've fought for the good things in my life, like anybody else, I've appreciated them, I am so grateful to God for my great family. And there are things for which I like to dream about, late at night... I dream for simple things like how one day I intend to have kids, two or three, girl and boy, no matter, but I would like to have the opportunity to look them in their eyes, to be able see how they smile, to be able to see their first steps in this world, I want to be able to see how my wife is smiling at them... and such kind of things, simple, but very, very special. I would like to be able to see this things, and eventually to make one of my other dream come true - to be a writer. I love to read books and I want to be writer and author by my own. But I suppose it’s hard to be a writer, or author, if you are blind. Is there so much for which I ask? I just want these simple things, and my mother, brother, father and grandmother to be alright, to be happy, healthy and to able to dream and make their dreams come true. So you now know my biggest fears and my biggest dreams, I want for one final time to ask for your help. Know that you have golden hearts, and that I'll be ever grateful and respectful for your assistance through these not so easy times for me. So please, help me in whatever way you can. I know that you too may have your problems and not so easy moments in life, so I ask you for great thing, but please, give me faith and supportive hand, I need them. You have the power to change my life. And I promise to pay you back for your generosity, when I have the chance.
