I kind of understand that you consider ranking in the Top 4 in the Premier League better than winning the Europa League, but in 10 years time nobody will remember if Chelsea ranked 3th or 5th at the end of the season and played QF in the Champions league in the next season, however, they will definitely remember if Chelsea won the EL. I think Rafa made the right decision by choosing the best eleven (sans Torres) for this game.

I don't agree with the ignorant attitude that some of the forumers here have, but hey, I'd probably act in a similar way if I lost to a much lower rated team. And to the Chelsea fans, don't feed the trolls... just ignore them and they'll eventually go away.

Just for your information, 51% of Romanians work in the services sector, 26,4% work in industry and only 29% work in agriculture. 29% is a high number compared to the single digit figure in most western countries, but hey, you didn't endure 50 years of communism, have you? Whatever you may think, our country is moving in the right direction, and joining the EU helped the British (among others) companies investing in Romania a LOT. We may be poor but at least we're not ignorant..

Don't blame your loss on the pitch. Steaua's players played on the same field and they encountered the same holes and areas without grass and even had 55% ball possession. Anyway, in my opinion you're still the favorites to qualify..

From Steaua's point of view, Torres was the MOTM, so my vote goes to him. The bad part about Steaua's win is that we'll see a lot of Gigi Becali (Steaua's "excentric" owner) monkeying around on television. Good luck against MUFC on Sunday!
