i'm sure being 1 point off relegation had more to do with it.

The bed is made for a terrible season. The interim manager will be criticised left and right for the smallest of mistakes and most of the fanbase is against the players since Mourinho apparently can do no wrong. This is going to be a hell of a ride.

I love how people are blaming the board. So ridiculous.
Board makes statement that Mourinho is staying regardless. Lazy players stay lazy in further attempt to get Mourinho out (if that is what was going on anyway). Results stay as they are. Further hilarity for fans of other clubs.

What makes people so sure that better results are around the corner without a massive culling of players?

Newsflash: We are in catastrophe - an unprecedented one for decades. That's why he has been sacked.

Take a good long look at the league table. ANY manager right now would do a better job.
However, seeing Mourinho won the league last year with the same set of players, it's clear that they have downed tools/got old overnight (Ivan and Terry). They are unprofessional arseholes, but their behaviour is merely shadowing Mourinho's this season.

I see your point but that is how football is. Often when managers get sacked and a new manager comes in, it is often the case that you see a complete difference in form. It is almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy that the players have and can't change the terrible situation they are in. Look at Gladbach for example. They started of awful. I don't think the players said to themselves: "fuck it, I won't play for Favre any more". This was a manager who played great football and guided them to 3rd spot last season however it just was not working and the tactics were not getting anywhere. They get a new manager from within the club the suddenly they have been terrific. Is that down to choice or tactics and the breath of fresh air of having a new manager? It is the latter.
It is same with us. Although he did fall out with players probably, they all go out to play, but have been poor at it, not intentionally but it has got to a point where Mourinho's ideas and tactics were not working. After a while with many clubs it just happens that the team and manager lose the connection they once had and you see indifferences on the field. It is a shame but that is how it goes.
I don't think all our players chose to play shit, did they? Come on.

Don't be a dick. How many league titles have you won without Mourinho? I'm not sure he shouls remain at Chelsea, but he deserves the respect of each and every fan.

Yep. Fair enough. But for Mourinho to be given this leeway, he needs to know exactly what is wrong at the club, how it became this way, and how to fix it so it doesn't happen again.

The game wasn't 50/50 at all, Liverpool were far superior.

One thing is sad that if they sack him we are left in gloom.
When Benitez left a guy a lot of people hated left us in good standing.
That's just a bit of irony that the guy most people loved leaves us like this and that guy most people hated left us in a good moment.

People are overreacting he should leave now or at the end of the season but don't forget that he's still a Chelsea legend. So show atleast a bit of respect. Even though I have been one of the few TC members that wanted Jose to leave, I still show the guy some respect. Thank you for what you have done Jose but I think it's done.
An interim manager like Hiddink might be the solution for this season.

Yeah, yeah. Turns out that the fans are not melodramatic. This man has no clue about long term continuity. Talk about we don't deserve him
I expect the votes to chage significantly after this. Best manager my ass. For 1 year maybe.
