Really? This time last week no one is talking about Liverpool building something good. One win over Arsenal and a couple of bids for players later and people suddenly think they're like super good. It's contradicting to say they're building a solid squad when they have not and don't seem to be addressing their biggest weakness. A proper manager should be addressing the biggest problems with their squad before doing anything else, not stockpile players in areas they don't need and that's exactly what Liverpool are doing. Instead of splashing out 60 million (or whatever that amount was) on Lemar, they should be spending that on a CB, LB or even a GK.

Amusing how people are overrating Liverpool all of a sudden. They are basically doing an Arsenal, buying players in positions where there is no immediate need and ignoring their biggest issues in the squad - the defence and goalkeeper.

It's worth remembering that Chamberlain is only 24 years old. Isn't perfect but definitely has plenty of time on his side to get better under a proper manager like Conte.

Think you might have over-exaggerated with 'pretty bad' there but do agree with your general point. He has looked that tiny bit dodgy in certain moments in the last 2 games, making some poor plays - offensively or defensively - that you don't normally see him do. Hope it's nothing permanent about that!
