Cheers, KV, very much appreciated. It is difficult for us all as we all work and/or attend college or university. However we do our best to make sure TalkChelsea is a great experience for all our members, new and old, even if we can't be on as much as we'd like!

Do you follow German or French football? I think not, if you consider Neymar to be better than Hazard or Gotze. He is overrated because he is considered the saviour of a Brazil team in decline. He is a very good player, but very selfish and ignorant of his team-mates. His style of play is very much one-dimensional, and if he ever came up against a disciplined defence or a team that employs a destroyer like de Jong, he would end up running off crying. He's not even half as good as Messi was at his age. He is a talented footballer, but he is not an intelligent one like Gotze or Hazard. His play is not mature enough to play regularly for a big European team, and he knows it. Gotze would walk into any midfield bar Barcelona's, and Hazard would be first choice at any club besides the Big Three (Barca, Real and Bayern). I am going to say no more on this because it is clear we will both have to agree to disagree.

Thought his two best performances this season (Pompey FA Cup and Wolves away) where when he was out wide. Granted he isn't the best in possession and his passing his poor, but he is very effective with his energy and pace out wide, and he is certainly a less selfish attacking outlet than Sturridge is.

So what? Hazard and Gotze are Champions League quality players. Champions League > Copa Libertadores Plus Gotze is playing at the European Championships, and the quality of the major European teams (ie. Germany and Spain) currently outweight the best the Latin Americans can offer.
