  1. Ok guys, so I know that this has nothing to do with Chelsea, but this is a must read for everyone. As fans of one of the richest clubs in the world, we tend to take our financial prowess for granted, although I'm sure many here will remember the days before Uncle Roman. Although we obviously never faced the situation Darlo are in, I think all of us can sympathize with them, imagine if this happened to our club, what would we feel? I have no affiliation with Darlington, have never been to one of their games, have never followed them, but this post left me with a tear in my eye. It brings me back to what football is really about, not money, not multi-million pound transfers, but passion. This is the football we love, this is why the game is so special, it really is an amazing game. Would love to see Darlington get saved by someone, with fans like these, they certainly don't deserve it. http://www.darlofc.co.uk/forum/viewtopi ... =2&t=15733 Curious to see what everyone thinks, but I think this is brilliant.
  2. mat Wow, mate, you must know everything! I haven't even described the shirt in detail, or shown pictures, but you already seem to "know" that it is fake. I thought that the only person who knew everything here was Henrique, but I guess that both of you are omniscient. Bravo to you. You want to think it's fake, fine, your choice, I don't care.
  3. The shirt it legit, you obviously don't know anything about collecting. What is so outlandish about the shirt being worn twice? Quite frankly, if you don't want it, I don't care, you obviously don't know what you are talking about anyways.
  4. Thanks Badboy and Madmax, I must say that I felt like ''Henrique'' was interrogating me quite a bit!
  5. Because when I signed up it asked me where I live, and I live in Chicago now, so that what I said.
  6. Of course I am not just going to talk about the shirt, Chelsea are my club, and I will definately be discussing them as well.
  7. Not quite mate, born and raised in the UK, I call it football!
  8. Quite a vaild question, mate! I have quite a large collection of match worn shirts, mainly Chelsea of course, and get them from the UK. This Drogba shirt was actually bought from a friend of mine in the UK who knows a guy in the Chelsea kitroom, impeccable provenance!
  9. ooo Yes they do. Normally, they will change shirts at half-time, and only wear a shirt once. I have over 40 Chelsea match worn shirts, and only about 2 or 3 were worn in multiple games. I would guess that the reason why this was worn twice was because it was the beginning of the season, and they might not have a bunch of Techfit shirts, since they just switched to Techfit from Formotion, so that was why they were worn twice. It was only worn in one half each game, so it is really only was worn for 90 minutes anyways.
  10. Hi All- I am brand new to this forum, so forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place...I have just received an absolutely cracking shirt, a Didier Drogba match worn shirt from this year. It is the black and orange away kit, and it was worn in two matches, the drubbing of Wigan earlier this year, and the fixture against Man City. The shirt is washed, but the black has run a bit with the white numbers on the back, making the lextra on the numbers a bit gray, which is quite nice. This is a great shirt, I am only reluctantly parting with it because I already have quite a few Drog shirts in my collection. Anyone interested? Cheers
