Great narrative, but I don’t live in a deserted village in Belarus. Let’s not get carried away

Sure , but I have literally no idea who he is , he isn’t someone I follow. He was just on one of the articles I saw following a google search. Who knows if he conducted the study himself or is just commenting on it. The point wasn’t to put Scottish or anyone else down anyway if you write “they aren’t the brightest over there” you’re very unlikely to receive a positive response from the people “over there”. In fact, if you wrote the exact same thing about Somalians or Pakistanis you’d be in hot water yourself.

it's not perfect but it's a good indication and a predictor of life outcomes "An intelligence quotient (IQ) is a total score derived from a set of standardised tests or subtests designed to assess human intelligence." OP specified White welsh people. And most non white people in Wales are probably recent south asian migrants. The amount of black , UK citizens in Wales aren't enough to have a bearing on the brexit vote or IQ scores.

the vast majority of people in Wales are white , compared to parts of England, and presumably everyone voting for Brexit in Wales would have been white. I don't think migrants had a vote.

professor Richard Lynn said the Scots average IQ of 97 was well below the England and Wales average of 100.5 and on a par with the Republic of Ireland. London and the south-east of England scored top in the UK, with an average IQ of 102. Scotland - when split from the rest of the UK - comes two-thirds down the table of European average intelligence, beating Russia by one point and France by three. But Prof Lynn, a lecturer at the University of Ulster, said he was not surprised by the poor Scots showing. He blamed the centuries-old tradition of Scots seeking their fortune south of the Border or overseas for a literal brain drain. Prof Lynn said: "I believe this has been caused by selective migration. Over the course of two centuries, there has been a trend for more intelligent Scots to migrate to London and beyond, to New Zealand, Australia, the United States and Canada. It wasn't a serious claim, it's marginal if anything. But white Welsh people aren't dumb, sorry to disappoint you. They score much higher than many ethnic groups around the world

rejecting a multinational entity that doesn't care about you is always a good move. complete self sufficiency on as local a level as possible is the only way forward, integrated international economy is suicide long term.

They weren't tasked with the Brexit plan and negotiations. Brexit backfired because of the incompetence of the government and the spitefulness of the EU, it reveals nothing about the intelligence of Wales' population. A yes or no vote could have turned out positively or negatively, depending on many circumstances outside of our control.

Archie gray might develop into one of the best mids in the world. Hall will probably be decent but not amazing. What’s the midfield going to be ? Caicedo enzo hall trio?
-
It’s a tough league but the level is shit. I’d rather watch Sevilla and sociedad than plymouth and QPR.

Doesn’t appear to be on the cards currently, barring a large cash offer which Italo-poor poverty clubs never make

he will almost certainly be more useful than Gallagher, he might not average as many "interceptions per hour" or whatever metric people used to defend gallaghers play, but he won't be such a liability on the ball. Honestly, someone like Gallagher is ok to have on the bench to wind down the clock after 85 minutes, but having him as a regular starter and even captain was highly embarrassing. KDH is english and has a weird name and plays for leicester so naturally he sounds mediocre and will be likened to drinkwater, I think he will be decent thougb
-
i probably would too but hall is already a clear upgrade on gallagher , he has 2 premier league seasons under his belt
-
archie gray is a baller, get him in
-
shouldn't sell hutchinson for a penny under 40m
-
I'd take Hall over Gallagher. Gallagher's tactical awareness and technical ability is very poor and he'd be a massive liability in Maresca's system. Hall is left footed, smoother on the ball and seems to be a bit faster

ugarte was signed by PSG before they decided on enrique as their next manager. He does not suit Enriques style of play , so he wasnt really in his plans. He's a good player and will excel elsewhere
