Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly set his sights on an ambitious move for Bayern Munich full-back Philipp Lahm. According to Infoticker.ch, the Blues boss is planning for life without Ashley Cole, now 32 years old, and Lahm is one of his top targets for the left-back position. The German international has been one of Bayern's outstanding players in recent years, and seems unlikely to leave the club he has been with for his entire career. Wolfsburg youngster Ricardo Rodriguez, 21, has also caught Mourinho's eye this season with some strong displays in the Bundesliga, and could be a backup option for the Portuguese coach. Despite Chelsea's recent success domestically and in Europe, Lahm may well feel he is better off with Bayern, who look set to dominate European football for the next few years after an incredible treble success last season. http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/36118-chelsea-mourinho-eyes-ambitious-move-for-lahm.php#.UozzS9LIVwh
