  1. Haha wow. You're gonna laugh at me, because I root for that other Chicago team, the most embarassing team in any sport in the world, the Chicago Cubs. It made our heartbreak the last two in the years a little more predictable, heartbreak is what the Cubs do best.
  2. All very true. Believe me, him, or any other dumb Liverpool fan will never ever affect my love for Chelsea.
  3. I don't mind the xmas tree formation today, I can't remember a game where we've looked bad in it. Deco and Ballack in the same lineup should be a little frustrating, but hopefully we (Lamps) can push it out wide to Flo and have him serve the ball up for Nic, reducing some of the impact of Deco and Ballack in midfield.
  4. Hahaha, hilarious. I'll be sure to throw that one at him.
  5. He's a Liverpool supporter so I'm having the last laugh this season. He claims that the only Chelsea fans are the ones "before Abramovich". Not sure what I could do, I started getting into football around 2004 when we started to become an elite club. I can take pride in the fact that I know much more about Chelsea's history than he does Liverpool's. He always says the same dumb line, "How many European Cups has Chelsea won?". One of those people you can't win an argument with. This season though, he doesn't have an answer to anything. It makes me enjoy their struggles that much more.
  6. April 26, 2008. The atmosphere for this game was absolutely electric. This is the one game in my lifetime I truly wish I had been in attendance for. Right after the death of Lamps' mom, Pat, was a game that we had to win to stay in contention for the league, against league leaders United. Anything other than a win would practically give United the league, but Michael Ballack had other ideas on a beautiful day at the Bridge. Chelsea (4-3-3): Cech; Ferreira (Anelka 65), Terry ©, Carvalho, A Cole; Essien, Makelele, Ballack; J Cole (Makelele 86), Drogba, Kalou (Shevchenko 80). Man United (4-3-3): Van der Sar; Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic (Hargreaves 14), Silvestre; Fletcher, Anderson (O'Shea 64), Carrick; Nani, Rooney (Ronaldo 63), Giggs. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ms-x8-BmuU8 Enjoy!!!
  7. One of my favorite games in recent memory.
  8. Definitely agree. I'm a little worried that they'll steal the first goal due to the confidence they've been riding, but I think we're gonna play with some urgency now that we're not top anymore. Hopefully we can regain our form when we started in August and September with a big break in league matches.
  9. Simple google search, haha. I actually went to a few other places, but this is far and away the best, I'm so excited to talk with other Chelsea fans!
  10. My name is Jordan Sandberg, from Long Island, New York, USA. I go to school in Pennsylvania in the USA, and have been searching for a place to talk about the Blues. Ever since I've been into football, I've been a huge Chelsea fan, and have made my friends huge football fans as well. I watch every single game that we play, whether online or on TV. I know all about our history, even though I've only been a fan for only a few years. Here in America, football isn't talked about much, so I have other affiliations with teams in hockey, baseball, and American football. However, none of these match the passion that I have for football and Chelsea, and in only a few years I'd like to say that my knowledge is excellent. I first became a fan in 2005, and immediately fell in love with the Blues. I really think this may be our year, I know that you guys can't deal with anymore heartbreak in the CL, I was right there watching on that fateful day against Barcelona. I've been branded a "bandwagon" fan by some of my friends here, but my knowledge for our history should prove otherwise. I loved how our fans interacted with the players, and couldn't stand Man U. Ever since, Chelsea has mattered most to me. Although I've never made it to the Bridge, I visited London when I was 10, not knowing much about football. I plan to make it in a couple of years, preferably for a Champions League night. I really can't wait for that day, as hockey games here are intense, but I want to sing Carefree with the fans in London more than anything else in the world. Thank you for letting me join this board, I'll be sure to inject some solid opinions for our talks on our Blues!
