  1. Everyone way OTT. Not long back from the match. Hull turned it into a cup tie, high intensity, pressure up the pitch, played the ball over the top, and we were on the ropes. Apart from the 3 saves in 10 seconds we played well in second half. We don't have a God given right to win every game, it's the PL. Sign of champions to not be at best and win. I agree a bit concerned about certain performances but they will come good. KTBFFH
  2. Every team has a bad patch and we are in it at the moment. Tommorow is the day we start getting out of this patch and start winning this league ...
  3. First match at the bridge since 2009. Was a really disappointing performance in many aspects for me. I think jose still wants to be the man that says we go ahead in the game we will shut up shop and you won't score, arrogantly. Unfortunately this isn't the team of 10 years ago, I feel that we have lost some winners in the team. Ash, Frank, Didier only coming on late on. Call it whatever you want but they had that winning character in games like this. I question cesc, Oscar, Ramires in particular. People blame mourinho but first time I've seen him go 2 up top in a while. He's been let down by the players as much as us. I thought psg were outstanding aswell. The crowd for me was terrible. A couple in front of me left after 60 mins. A boy to the right of me left after 65 mins. Wtf! This was the East stand, didn't want to be in there but hey ho. MH looked good but we still don't generate noise levels that we should be in a big European tie. It's almost like people are embarrassed to get vocal. Too many business types bringing along potential customers and charging their companies for tickets etc. that's what it seems like to me. Fuck them. Let the real fans back to the bridge and if the stadium was like what for example celtic park or anfield was on European nights, we would never have lost that game on Wednesday. Just my thoughts guys.
  4. Ok, are u still allowed to post about tickets here? Apologies if not!
  5. Guys where is the match tickets page?? It's gone!! Needing 2-4 tickets for tommorow if anyone can help
  6. Just back after weekend in Newcastle. Read the first 6 pages, can't believe the over reaction on here! Was at the game and totally gutted at the result but I thought we were very unlucky, on another day we could have won comfortably. Keep the faith
  7. Think guys are being way OTT here. My thoughts are this: was totally frustrated by the end of the match at the way the game filtered out without any real energy put in. Sunderland were simply excellent, thoroughly deserved the draw. Sometimes in football, and I can tell you from playing myself, you come up against a weaker opponent and you just can't break them down for whatever reason. The 90 mins come and go and you just get onto the next game.... We have played both Manchester, liverpool and North East (as of next week) teams. We are clear at the top, and looking at other teams who are to be challenging - they all look quite poor tbh. I think we are in a great position. One thing I'll say about today's game aswell though. Numerous times as we were taking a corner the ref would pull in and speak to one of their players....all that wrestling what is the rules?? because if they are followed we'd have had a good few penaltys today...
  8. To be honest guys, I think Pellegrini has a point.... We were far too cautious. I think the plan was similar to when we beat them last season, except last season our attacking players had a massive influence on the counter attack. Which allowed the whole team to push up the park and maintain the pressure. Hazard in particular was world class that night. Yesterday, too many wrong passes. Which didnt allow the rest of the players to push up the park. Willian very guilty of giving the ball away alot. Hazard didnt do much but his one shining moment brought us the goal. And lets be honest, they did a good job on Diego. Thats football, its one of them things, happy enough with a point though. We are up north loads this side of christmas so its gonna be tough, coupled with the European games. Lets hope we can keep picking up points on the road! Lampard, lots of love, but did you have to? lol. If it were me I'd have deliberately missed, but then, I'm not a pro! KTBFFH
  9. Cheers for the welcome! I certainly will be sticking around! Quite hard getting to games as I'm up in scotland now. Was in Camden in my youth and loved going to the bridge all the time. Football not quite the same up here! But loved my first game this season. Although was torture when Everton kept coming back. They are a very decent side btw so the result is very pleasing. Costa and cesc have settled in very well and I'm hopeful this will be a successful season for us. Although like always injuries come in and just depends how the squad copes with that. On the subject of cesc though. I already like him, very good on the ball, great vision, look forward to seeing more of his clever passes!
  10. First chelsea match I've been to in quite a while! And first time poster on this but just wanted to make a point on cesc. Don't think people should be questioning his commitment to the chelsea badge. He's signed for us, he is making a lot of goals for us, and if you watch the goal from Edens run that Coleman turns in, you will find cesc turning to the fans cheering...... Really been impressed with cesc so far. Loving the way we are playing aswell....
