  1. Losing 4 on the trot so far and leaking goals at the back isn't exactly inspiring stuff. Guys need to get it together at the back, no need for Mr. cowboy Luiz to try anything crazy. Hazard disappeared against City. I guess he needs game time in the Premiership, but he needs to step up - there are enough quality youngsters ready to play...
  2. As a web developer, the Chelsea site is improving update on update, but the overall structure hasn't changed, because they using the same backend since the beginning of time. It's a massive undertaking to redo the entire thing, which would then result in us having a quality site like PSG or MCFC. The player profile carousel is complete rubbish as are the small fonts used everywhere. The blue footer area is also really poorly designed. Chelsea could do SO much better. I guess it does the job though!
  3. Hey guys, I've learnt some tips and tricks for buying tickets on the Chelsea site. The waiting room thing is complete rubbish. The earlier you online makes no difference.Open multiple browsers on multiple computers if possible. I had 5 browsers and my iPhone running on 2 machines. Its all about timing, so just keep watching the different browsers until 1 of them allows you to login.Once in, choose the area you want to sit.On the next screen it will allow you to select your name as well as give you your seat numbers. If you unhappy with them, cancel the order and click buy tickets again. (You do not need to logout)Why do I say the virtual waiting room is rubbish? The last browser I fired up was the first browser to let me login. I loaded the waiting room way past 7am on it. So there you go! I'm sitting in row 5, seats 210, 211 for the Blackburn game. Pity its not more central to the pitch, but hey, I'll take whatever I can get!
  4. Awesome, thanks for the advice Blueray. Where would I find out what date (and time) the tickets will go on sale for the Blackburn game?
  5. Thanks Mart! Would this be a better way of buying tickets than rather going through Viagogo?
  6. Need some advice please. I'm traveling over from South Africa in October to come and watch Chelsea take on Blackburn at home. I've just bought 2x Chelsea memberships in order to buy tickets. I'm guessing the best way to get tickets is via the Viagogo site? Here are the available tickets for the game: http://chelseafc.viagogo.co.uk/Chelsea-Tickets/E-209297 (only available to purchase from 24th September.) I want to be able to sit as close to the pitch and center. I'm not worried about the cost, just need to know if this would be the best way to secure the tickets I want? I was also reading about loyalty points in this forum - do I need any in order to purchase tickets to this game? I hope not! Thanks!
  7. Hey all, just wanted to let you know I have uploaded Episode 9 of Free-kick.tv - we chat about the Chelsea transfer ban, but most importantly we discuss great football players that were rubbish managers. Watch the episode here if you interested: http://www.free-kick.tv/Chelsea-banned-episode-9/ Anyway, question is - who were great players, but are rubbish managers?
  8. Thanks for the intro guys. @Elliot, I definitely will.
  9. Thanks for the info Blueray! I've checked out the Chelsea site for tickets and I think my best bet would be the ticket exchange. Seems there are some really decent tickets up for grabs from season ticket holders that are not attending a couple of the matches. I'll be honest and say I'm not too keen on sitting on either end of the ground - would rather be as close to the pitch as possible and near the middle! Sounds like a tall order, but it's my first game I'll be watching live, so really want to get the best out of it! Price really isn't an issue either - not going to skimp on tickets after paying all the cash for flights and accommodation to get the London.
  10. I just wanted to introduce myself - I'm Jason, a massive blues fan living in Cape Town, South Africa. I must be pretty lucky to have a wife that I rate is a bigger fan than I am, but probably for the players looks more than anything else. We have planned a trip to England in October and are definitely going to catch the home game against Blackburn, so going to need some advise on tickets, where to sit etc - but I'll ask for more info closer to the time. I run a football video blog called Free-kick.tv where a colleague of mine, Mike Perk (Spurs fan) and I chat about all things football. We shoot a show once a week and its tons of fun. We so far have shot 7 episodes, but it is steadily growing! Other than that I have a personal blog over at www.jasonbagley.com So, enough about me - just wanted to say Hi!
