It was very toxic at the Bridge last night. I think as fans, we are tired and frustrated with the current ownership. There's a lot of disagreement with major decisions and the way the clubs being run and that's evident everywhere to see. This forum, socials and match going fans alike. I don't think it's fair to differentiate between any of the 3, as has been done on here, as all are entitled to their opinions.
However, the club has become completely out of touch, I don't think we are far off fan protests against the owners, especially if we have another torrid season. We never felt this disassociation under Roman, he was one of us and wanted best for the club.
We're a few games in and already there was already booing at half time, chants of Gallaghers name, particularly when a mistake was made by Mudryk or KDH and also chants of Roman Abramovich.
This doesn't help the team whatsoever in my opinion, especially the newer players that are trying to settle, but it's just people venting their frustrations.
It'll be a very interesting season if we fail to make a mark again...
