  1. It was, but it was down to the Barnsley defense being horrifically open. They weren't tracking their men or really marking at all. All the goals were very well taken and not much he could've really done, although he did give the pen away, but didn't have much choice but to go for it. He did also make 6 saves in the game too.
  2. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/article/2024/sep/10/Chelsea-in-talks-new-stadium-earls-court And so it begins. The Stamford Bridge land is far to lucrative for Clearlake to not see an opportunity. Driving the club into oblivion to reap the benefits from the land.
  3. Also the Clearlake side that have fucked us over with ticket increases, removal of subsidised coaches and talking of fans as customers. I have absolutely no doubt they see a huge financial opportunities in the Stamford Bridge land for development and will not be phased by the hurdle of the CPO. I think either way it's a concerning step for the club, however, Boehly is definitely the lesser of two evils.
  4. No chance he sits at Napoli until then. He's off to Saudi. Forget about him.
  5. Don't think Mudryk would've played last night if that was the case. He's going nowhere unfortunately. Sterling out, Sancho in
  6. We probably have to work on outgoings to be able to pay him what he wants. Think this goes to the last hour.
  7. Great fee for him. Looked absolutely terrible, does not have the physique for prem whatsoever.
  8. They play rugby there too. Servette RC played there 5 days ago. Feel for the ground staff having to deal with that.
  9. 44 members on this thread right now. How many posting? Many prefer to just lurk nowadays. Too much toxicity, personal attacks and one-upmanship.
  10. Yup and means a lot of people are no longer active as they once were.
  11. It was very toxic at the Bridge last night. I think as fans, we are tired and frustrated with the current ownership. There's a lot of disagreement with major decisions and the way the clubs being run and that's evident everywhere to see. This forum, socials and match going fans alike. I don't think it's fair to differentiate between any of the 3, as has been done on here, as all are entitled to their opinions. However, the club has become completely out of touch, I don't think we are far off fan protests against the owners, especially if we have another torrid season. We never felt this disassociation under Roman, he was one of us and wanted best for the club. We're a few games in and already there was already booing at half time, chants of Gallaghers name, particularly when a mistake was made by Mudryk or KDH and also chants of Roman Abramovich. This doesn't help the team whatsoever in my opinion, especially the newer players that are trying to settle, but it's just people venting their frustrations. It'll be a very interesting season if we fail to make a mark again...
  12. Second half was much better. First half was definitely as bad as people making out.
