Roberto Di Matteo and Graeme Le Saux will join Chelsea's youth academy coaching staff as they introduce Chelsea Football Club Soccer Schools to Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

Etihad Airways will host the event, which takes place between 20 and 23 February at the capital city's Zayed Sports City.

Four hundred boys and girls between the ages of seven and 14 will take part in four days of top-level football training and specialist clinics as well as getting the chance to meet, and play, alongside the former Blues.

'There is a massive appetite for football and the Barclays Premier League in the UAE and everyone at Chelsea is thrilled to help coach some of the brightest talents in the country,' said Di Matteo, who made 175 appearances during his time with the Blues.

Chief executive Peter Kenyon said: 'Chelsea Football Club places huge importance on our youth and community work and the soccer schools are a major part of fulfilling these ambitions.

'By working with Etihad Airways we are looking forward to bring the soccer schools to the children of Abu Dhabi.'
