Can probably count the number of times on one finger when we wanted a Man U win  - today is one of those

Against City too recently.

United have now become our biggest hope.

We are likely to draw the game against them though. As usual.

Or lose..as usual...it won't go well know they have their issues but we create so many issues for ourselves

every EPL game we have left is tough, even Everton are in good form

4 points thrown into the drain by Maresca, within a week.

No doubt he will whoop and cheer when the club progresses to the next round of the conference league.

Whatever. We can clearly see that the squad and the manager aren't ready to seriously challenge in the CL.

Let's just hope we don't lose any existing talent like Palmer in the next window because of the lack of CL on offer.

That's just absurd. There's still six games left as well.

Thats why there was no way he was going to leave. Know bit iffy talk wise but if he's giving you everything you'd throw whatever money. Deserves every award he's getting this season

Very true. He's one player Liverpool couldn't afford to lose and don't have the type of funds needed to find a replacement of a similar level. The half a billion from Saudi will be waiting for him once his contract ends as well.

And hard to replace especially for the price they paid. 34m whatever it was is crazy considering where he is now

I didn't really see him going anywhere.. He is still in great shape/form, but I feel it counts a lot that he has been playing at Liverpool for 11 years, the club and the team is highly his comfort zone, everything is about/around him. PSG and Real Madrid were rumoured to be interested, but both teams have insane quantity and quality of young attackers. I don't think any of these teams were really eager to give long contract and big salary to him at the age of 33. Or any other top teams.

Huge money in Saudi or Egypt will be available for him 5 years later too.
