On the other hand, Salah is playing better than his debut season for Liverpool. He seems to be getting at least a goal and an assist every game. Liverpool can thank the timing of the new CWC forcing AFCON to move to next winter. That would have been the only genuine chance for others to bridge the gap. Aside from that blip against Forest (good old days returning for them?), they've dominated in the league and in Europe. Slot has made people forget about Klopp already, which is a major surprise.
