Milan 17,956
Also, is this the first time since match day week 1 in August that all the teams have the same amount of games played?😄 About time, right?
Pizy 18,903
So to be clear, Spuds qualify for the new Conference thingy if they win against Leicester? They’re a club who desperately need the European money so hopefully they try in that game.

They just need to hold on to that spot without going up or down to qualify. A win could give them EL spot depending West Ham result. West Ham will likely at least draw with SOTON in east London, they looked 100% at the beach versus Leeds with Rice back for West Ham, they are dangerous he so frees up Soucek to wreak havoc Edited May 19, 2021 by Vesper

If you're going to sack him, wait until the end of the season. Mourinho would have at least gotten them an EL spot. well, probably not EL I think West Ham will get 6th no matter what and 7th is only shitty Conference Mou was sacked 19 Apr 2021 until today, Mason had only lost one league game and Mou was the manager here

Vesper 30,172
Wednesday May 19 2021 Matt Law's Chelsea briefing Top-four finish goes down to wire again - but Tuchel can ensure fans rest easier next season By Matt Law, Football News Correspondent Chelsea’s bid to qualify for the Champions League has gone to the wire for a third successive season. But there is evidence to suggest they should not have to shred the nerves of their supporters for a fourth campaign. Qualification for Europe’s top competition is the minimum requirement at Stamford Bridge and yet Chelsea have fallen into a habit of making it difficult for themselves. Owner Roman Abramovich does not want Chelsea to turn into an Arsenal or a Tottenham Hotspur, where Champions League qualification became a cause for end-of-season celebration. So head coach Thomas Tuchel must ensure that qualification becomes the consequence of a title challenge, or at least a season spent comfortably inside the top four. Tuchel has done brilliantly to reignite Chelsea’s season since his appointment and there is more than enough evidence to suggest qualification should be assured rather more easily and earlier in future. Under Tuchel, Chelsea would currently be second in the Premier League table, four points behind Manchester City and eight above Leeds, who were the fourth-placed team ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Burnley tonight. During his 18 league games in charge, Tuchel’s side have amassed 38 points, which is even seven more than Manchester United, who would be in third place over the same time period. Chelsea have not managed to hit or better the 80-point mark since they last won the title under Antonio Conte, but if Tuchel maintained his record over the course of an entire 38-game season then they would have a good chance of doing so. Champions City currently have 83 points and the winning total has been much higher in each of the past three campaigns (Liverpool won with 99 points and City with 98 and 100 points), which shows Tuchel still has some work to do. It is not hard to identify where Chelsea need to improve, as, under Tuchel, they have scored fewer league goals than seven of their Premier League rivals and are tied with Newcastle United on 24 goals. Their goals against record of only having conceded 11 times is by some distance the best in the division during Tuchel’s time in charge, but, of the top nine clubs, only Manchester United have drawn more games. Chelsea will have to turn a good proportion of their five draws into victories if they are to mount a real title challenge under Tuchel next season. City have drawn five over the course of this campaign, while Liverpool last season only drew three and City drew four in each of their title-winning seasons before that. Should the league revert to the trend of the three seasons prior to this, then Chelsea may well need to move away from the three at the back formation that has served Tuchel so well if they are to keep up with City, United and Liverpool. That is no doubt a decision Tuchel will wrestle with over the summer and Chelsea fans currently long for the days when their last handful of Premier League games had been rendered meaningless. Other day I was chatting to a member of staff outside a care home. About to go inside, so i started to search my pockets for my face mask, couldn't find it so i asked the carer if she could give me one. She laughed and pointed to my neck. Lol.
