i feel if they had Mou in charge maybe they could have sneaked a victory here, but shit happens. Levy is a proper cunt for sacking Mou before this final.

we just had to gift Spurs that league cup in 2008, and 2 FA cups to Arse in 2017 and 2020, typical us.

Baffling tactics and subs by Grant for that match..........those 2 FA's were awarded to Ars, Tayler decimated us both times.

So...Spurs sacked Mourinho only for them to put that kind of performance in? Is Ryan Mason gonna get criticized for basically doing what Mourinho would have tried to do?

I get that they tried to play on the counter but it didn't even look like they had any ambition to go win it. It looked as though they were just hoping to take it all the way to penalties and try to sneak it from there.

And Spurs' xG was 0.04!

Really baffling, let their board suffer now.

Doubt the players (some of which are older than he is) even pay him much attention. Can’t have a clue what he’s doing in such a job in these circumstances. Probably just outs out a basic framework and the players kind of just run around.

Kane and Son are fucking fools if they do not put in transfer requests

Only watched the last 20 minutes or so but it sure looked that way. It looked as though their plan was to just give Kane/Son the ball and hope they score a worldie or something.

Who is gonna buy Son? Who can afford Kane?

Son turns 29 later this year and big clubs are unlikely to go after him since he will cross that 30 y/o mark soon.

Kane damaged his career when he signed that 6-year contract and handed his future to Daniel Levy. I get that he's a Spurs man but it was such a stupid decision.

Can certainly see Kane having enough good will built up with Spuds that they’d grant him a move if he really pushed. If one of the Manchester clubs offer over £100m I think he goes.

If that happens I can’t see them selling Son as well. Because with Kane gone they’re instantly a midtable side. With both gone they’re even worse. And they can’t attract players near that quality to replace them.

I would hate more than anything to see the most talked about, most hyped up, most “adored” England player Kane playing for Man United. The media coverage would be insufferable. Never mind the fact that he’d instantly make them one of the favorites for the league and CL.

If he goes to City I don’t really care. They’re already unreal so he doesn’t really change much.

He has been linked with Man U before I think so if a English side probably there.

they are not gonna buy Sancho and Kane in the same window tho when their attack is actually complete already. He does not really fit their system either.

Really cant see anyone going for him atm. maybe real madrid if they are crazy but levy would milk them so hard idoubt they have themoney if they also want mbappe.

Kane is the most famous English player and is probably desperate to break lots of English records. Can’t see him leaving the PL for those reasons.

A club like United who are obsessed with commercial appeal and shirt sales and having English players mean he’d be their ideal player. Most famous English player at most famous English club” and all that bullshit.

Of course ourselves would be the best fit for him since we have every other piece except for a talismanic #9. But Levy would never do it even if we offered £20m more than anyone else. And I can’t stand the fucking sight of Kane and his awful haircut so I’m fine with that. 😂

Worth remembering that Ed Woodward will be leaving Man United this summer. So, god knows if United's decision making process will change etc.

The problem Kane has, aside from his long term contract, is that he will basically be "competing" with the likes of Haaland and Mbappe. If a club is willing to pay more than 100 million, wouldn't they be better off signing Haaland or Mbappe rather than Kane given the difference in age? The former two can give a club 10 years of service while Kane may have only 3 years or so left at the highest level.

It's weird isnt it?

I'm wondering if the breakup clause in Mourinho's contract had something related to trophies delivered,..maybe Levy didn't want Mourinho to win a trophy before leaving

I think if Mbappe ever moves it’ll only be to Real Madrid and he’d probably cost much more than Kane. For most clubs Haaland would make much more long term sense due to his age, but the combo of Kane being English, being totally settled and dominant in the PL already, and the fact that there likely won’t be a bidding war for him (unlike Haaland) means he’d probably be United’s preference.
