Here's a funny stat:
Hazard has 62% dribble success and completed 99 dribbles this season.
Di Maria "a better dribbler than Hazard" has 37% dribble success and completed 22 dribbles this season.

LOL Comparing incomparable.Hell, even Cesc, who's much slower than Di Maria and doesn't dribble much, has 68% dribble success.

A smart footballer knows his limits and wouldn't needlessly lose the ball. Poor decision-making from Di Maria.

Adm started well, mainly cos he was being played through the center. to be fair, even at RM he was just a headles chicken under JOSE on the wings. it was under carlo and thru the center (last season), where he was most effective.

Still laughing at United. This is the team the press had down as being the side that will get back to the title race. :getin:

that's the kiss of death. They went on about us unbeaten...then we lost.Went on about Man City being out the race with Arguero injured..that's also before we lost.We were running away with it then city were. They're a jynx lol

Yes but Poyet last season picked up four point's off City which could have been off huge benefit to us if we didn't mess up against Palace and Norwich.

Sometimes a top team just turns it on and there's nothing they can do, it ain't rolling over, I mean we are top thanks to QPR and West Ham drawing and winning vs City respectively, which is ironic because I have seen those teams be accused of rolling over for our rivals in the past.

Can't believe you have taken that so seriously...

Di Maria "a better dribbler than Hazard", LOL who said that. Everybody knows Di Maria is a more of a runner rather than a dribbler

Premier League: Chelsea's wage bill rises to £190.5m a year but is still lower than Manchester clubs

Manchester United are the highest payers in English football, spending £214.8m while City's wage bill dropped last season to £205m.

In 2010 the player with the most completed dribbles in Bundesliga was Marco Marin. In the 2011/2012 season the player with the most dribbles completed in EPL was Victor Moses followed by Junior Hoilett. Those stats are nice but don't really tell how great a player is.

Still Hazard is probably the best player in the league right now. Sanchez and Agüero are close. They are superior in goals/asists and can decide games iwth a moment of brilliance, but Hazard has something else, that does not show in stats. Game for game, his confidence inspires team mates, his magic drives chaos into any defence, his universal talent benefits his teammates more than himself.

I never mentioned anything about the greatness of a player. The thing is, some people claimed back in the summer that Di Maria is the better dribbler than Hazard. That's what I was addressing. Being a better dribbler has nothing to do with being a better player(though, in this case, Hazard is really a better player than Di Maria).

Actually, I think it's pretty unfair that fast footballers with great dribbling skills get more praise than intelligent passmasters and tactically brilliant DMs. Talent isn't just the ability to take on players. Talent can be different. And being a great dribbler doesn't necessarily make the footballer a great player--or a better player than someone who doesn't possess great dribbling skills.
