zolayes 14,489
you I wish we (English ) would copy the prices you charge for food and beer at Sports events and what your stores charge for clothes We charge too much for food @ sports event. It has even gotten worse. I remember going to tailgaters to get your groove on. I hear that in some places they are preventing that so one has to buy the water down Bud that everyone associates w/ us Yanks. I rather go to a pub, drink for a couple hours then stumble down the road to a match. I wish I could come back to England to that once more. Next time I want to goto an away match. compare the prices at Augusta to golf in UK ,, If you come to UK try an away game at Newcastle or Sunderland

Then again, I wouldn't mind going to one of those other West London sides - A London Derby - when I came to Stamford Bridge, I didn't drink inside the ground. Hell I went to Waitrose & bought their cheap scotch.....It went down good

Better Turf Moor than Goodison or try Swansea

Better Turf Moor than GoodisonFunny you mentioned Craven Cottage. When I stayed in London, I was about a mile from Craven Cottage. I went for a morning jog & went past Craven Cottage. At first glance, I thought it was a Cathedral. Then I ran on the other side of the river & from that viewpoint Craven Cottage looked like a 'proper football pitch'. See you English are rubbing off on me. I used the words of proper & football pitch zolayes

Madmax 9,219
Say United play a 4-3-1-2 with Shaw (Rojo), Rojo (Smalling), Evans, Jones (Rafael); Herrera (Carrick), Blind, Di Maria; Rooney (Mata); Falcao, Van P (Rooney) ... there's not an awful lot wrong there, is it? CB and CM still an issue but upfront they can seriously damage teams. A year under Van Gaal and they could well be right back in again. termninja 5,290
The thing with United is that yes their squad is not balanced, but what worries me is that they won't stop spending money now, they'll keep doing it. I see them landing Vidal in the next two windows with Mata going opposite way. What I really hate though is media bias. I haven't encountered I single bad report of Manu and their FIFA style transfer window. No, instead for example media goes and twists Fabregas' words on how about he's a gunner through and through. Well journos, go and fuck youself, thank you. stroey, Beigl, Fulham Broadway and 1 other

Well journos, go and fuck youself, thank you.True they will spend more, especially now the Glazers have brand United on the NYSE.However, I dont belive they will ever have the consistency they had under Ferguson. The combination of bullying, cajoling, threatening, telling them theyre playing for the best team in the world etc couldnt be replicated. But they will get better.
