As hilarious as I'm finding this United situation, there actually is one player on that team I feel bad and sorry for and that's Kagawa.

At Dortmund he looked as though he'd go on to become a world class AM and was a crucial cog in a great side. Arguably their best player at times. He moves to United and probably thinks he's gonna take off and prosper.

He was fully fit today and didn't even make the bench when they have the likes of Ashley Young and Cleverly starting.

Hope someone rescues him or he goes back to BVB. United don't deserve him. If we didn't already have our #10 I think he'd be brilliant in our side.

I wish dortmund can take him. They desperately need creativity after gotze left them and should take kagawa back in the summer especially as lewandoski is leaving

And barcelona did not even have to play Mascherano as CB to concede 3 goals - great job! There aren't many CBs that can work in their system, that's why we shouldn't let them have Luiz.

United were unfortunate to be honest. Jones was having a great game as CB when picked up a knock. SHame on Moyes for not having another CB on the bench.

Mata was a passenger for most of the match - nice assist for RVP goal though.

Love how it isnt a case of loosing to them for the first time in 5 years or so but going way way way back!!

At least Moyes is making history & not spouting it

The England national team fascinates me. Here is how I'd manage the bastards:

Starting XI

Lallana - Rooney - Walcott

Gerrard - Carrick

Barry

Baines - Smalling - Jones - Chambers

Forster

Bench

Hart

Shaw

Jagielka

Milner

Barkley

Lambert

Sturridge

Reserves

Ruddy

Cahill

Johnson

Lampard

Rodriguez

Our 0x0 result playing United away looks pretty shitty now; 2 points down the drain.

^^ good lineup, but it's too late to "unbore" the team and their football. Phil Jones would be considered too adventurous CB as opposed to the no nonsense others. A great manager would have picked the best players (regardless of styles) and try creating a team with them. THen replacing one or two just to make it work. WC is just too close to do that now.
