The fact that city have scored 99 goals already is incredible. They are leading everyone in europe on goals scored [barcelona(81), bayern(74), madrid(74)]

I can't believe they are on course to break our 103 goals in the league, as they have 57 already in the league.

Good stat, but they only scored one @ Stamford Bridge. Remember a couple of years ago, this guy named Messi scored 73 goals during that season. Everyone said no one could stop that guy, but when Chelsea played against him he got squat. So I am going lay my bets on Jose & The Chels to do the same vs City, but first up is manure. This is the match that we need to take care of first. Get the 3 then we can talk about matches & the Eithad.

But we really need them to drop points somewhere in the title race. The problem is I only see us as the team capable from taking any points off them at the moment which is annoying. They need an injury crisis sooner or later

Nasri is out for about 4 months. That will take them down a peg. They have proved in the past they they are venerable on the road, but in the past month or so they have been getting it down on the road as well. Where is Mancini when we need him?

Nasri is only out for 2 months and I doubt his injury will affect City THAT badly if compared to Kompany, Toure, Aguero and/or Negredo getting injured.

They are targeting mourinho's madrid record of 160goals in all competitions and guardiola's barcelona 2010/2011 record of 190goals :fainthv9:

We might need to win them at the etihad, because I don't know where they will drop points again since they just basically outscore the opposition.

In march they have to go to Hull, Old Trafford and The Emirates. Anfield it is for them in April whilst they play Everton at Goodison Park on the penultimate day of the season. As so often a win there could seal the Championship. but I bet they will lose at least 5 points in these matches. Not much but if we hold them at the Etihad and get three points out of Anfield for once I can't see why we can't go the distance. Our schedule is not quite as hard as theirs, which is what makes me most confident. But true it is not so easy for us to walk over the small teams as we got no consistent goal threats in our strikeforce.

They get by matches they don't play well in by the sheer goals their strike force provides. Look at that newcastle match, no way they deserved to win that. But they always have 2 goals guaranteed, from their strikers in every match.

I'm hoping the next fixture pile up takes its toll on them. And like you said their harder fixtures could prove a factor. But we may have to beat the at the etihad if every other team can't even take a point off them.

Because he came out and said some stuff about our fans and club and the usual "LFC are an enormous club" bollocks. The guy is a egotistical cunt in person to be fair.

Our treatment of him was poor too. We constantly played a 50m flop ahead of him even though he was in exceptional form in 11/12

OUR treatment ? How about the coach who had not played him ?

There was no reason to defecate Chelsea afterward, was it ?

If RDM didn't play him, he'd obviously have been angry with us. Moreover when I remember when Drogba had gone to Africa for CONCAF, Torres was preferred to him. Either way that's my view of things.
