RM would not sell CR for a 100mil. they dont need to. they make more money out of him every year anyways thru shirt sales and sponsors and every1 knows money is all the RM president/board care about.so by your logic players like anderson, nani, young, buttner, fabio, smalling, welbeck, chicharito dint need to prove anything since they got a PL medal last season. Tomo 21,751 Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 we had a squad of DD, sheva, lamps, JT, make etc all in their prime. for united except for rvp and rooney, who can u say is in their prime or even close to the squad we had at that point of time. as for united, i have no doubts that they ll make top 4. people are underestimating them which is not good. Sheva wasn't in his prime for us, Didier was better in 06/07, Lampard yes, JT i personally believe hit his absolute prime in 2005 (but even in 2007, he was better than most defenders in his prime he was that good, he was just a monster in 2005).The main point i mean is like the winning mentality created by Ferguson won't disappear overnight so Moyes will have to be a proper dope not to get them in the top 4 and i still believe United are good enough to atleast challenge, anything else and i actually think Moyes has underachieved in his first season if im honest.
