The only place to be 11,313
Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison would have been good players for United, yet Fergie the supposed youth genius let them go on a whim.Neither player was let go on a whim. Morrison in particular was given many chances by Fergie but the feeling was that he needed to get away from Manchester for personal reasons. He was a really troubled kid and Fergie really didn't want to lose him but it was the only option open to him by the end of it.Pogba...well that was a cock-up but he had people telling him he should be playing now and he got impatient. Fortunately he's backed up his ambition with talent.
Spike 12,049
Hindsight can make these decisions all seem terrible. SAF couldn't predict what could happen with Ravel and Paul.

Liquidator 5,176
Sounds correct to me. Absolute joke of an organization too stuck up its own arse to care about real issues in the English game

I could say Huth aswell considering who our CB's were back then, but that was a long time ago. The only place to be

Laylabelle 9,534
Keep in mind that Arsenal and Livershit have had the easiest draw so farTrue but against teams in other seasons they would've dropped points in.Hopefully a false start..... He had some excellent chances. Maybe he felt sorry for them, since it was a club he played for

EBH 283
They spent 100million. They are not supposed to escape pressure. If we spent that, we'll be skinned for not being on top of the table every weekYou can say this... but I do not think this is right... buying 5-10 decent players in exchange for one of the best in the world, it is not going to happen... Bale will have done more for Spurs then all those new player combined. It is like replacing Thierry Herny with 5 Francis Jeffers...I do not think Spurs will do well, because of this. He is amazing don't worry, but he isn't the type of player to raise a team to the next level.Bale created a one dimensional team that relied on one player far too much.I don't think Thierry Henry and Gareth Bale should be compared at the moment.Paulinho, Soldado, Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela in the same bracket as Francis Jeffers is mental!Spurs are much better team, than last season. Imagine if Spurs didn't reinforce and Bale tore his ACL, they'd at best finish 6th or 7th. Rmpr and kellzfresh
bushman 2,043
Selling Bale for that astronomical amount was correct. Real were stupid to pay that much.Current Spurs are in decent shape to challenge for top four, I feel. It takes time for the players to gel, that´s all.
