Sure they'll both make an amazing recovery when Wednesday is over....

Tbf, we can't complain. Hazard also says he has a "slight injury" that everyone seems to know is just to get out of playing for the NT. Not that I'm complaining that he's getting some rest.

I wouldn't complain about Uniteds injuries, look at Cities, jesus christ they have the largest squad in the fucking world and they just don't get injuries what so ever.

David Silva meant to be out for months, makes a remarkable recovery, Aguero don't even get me started, he was meant to be out for half of the season and is back within less than a month.

Micah Richards is injured but it's no biggy as he wont ever get into the team as he doesn't fit the system, City already have 3 right backs as it is.

we will be playing catch up in the title race now. united will win their games against norwich, qpr, westham, reading. their only real test this year will be City away and i bet by December we will be about 10 points off the pace.

You mean city home and away by the end of the season. :D

i was looking at the next few fixtures fr ManUre. looks like City away is the only fixture they MIGHT drop points.

Norwich, QPR, West Ham, Reading, CITY, Sunderland, Swansea, Newcastle, West Brom

You never know about Swansea, if they play to their strengths, they could get a point against United.

As for the rest of the teams (excluding City), if United DON't win those games, it'll be an added bonus, going into January!

true. but we'll be in a fix of our own. the Club World Cup, where is it held this time? Dubai? or Tokyo?

The Premier League did not agree to reschedule our game against Sunderland right before the CWC. we'll have to rotate a lot then. use the likes of Marin, Moses, Sturridge

ffs, half way across the world.

Hence, that is one of the reasons why I will be pissed off if we mess this competition up after what happened in the Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup. Not the biggest and most important trophy to be won but it's still something that we should look to win and it's a chance for us to plant the winning mentality into this new team of ours.

The CWC is always in Japan. Same time zone as Eastern Auatralia so I'm not complaining.

those Japanese lot care more about Pokemon than football. why bother going all the way there? they could play the CWC in a more attractive location

edit: no offense to any Japanese member on the forum(if there are any) i am pissed about chelsea going half way across the world than anything else

 You're just generalizing things there. There will be Japanese Chelsea fans there watching us and this is also a chance for the Chelsea fans from other Asian countries to travel there and watch us play.

true but no sense in playing CWC in just 1 location every year. i think the game can be globalised if the venue keeps shifting. maybe Tokyo-Sydney-Sao Paolo-Paris

The J-League is pretty popular over there. Second only to baseball.

Pokemon is bigger than Jesus.

I imagine its an immensely hard thing to organise. It would be kept in Japan for simplicities sake. It's on the middle of the European season, end of South America, middle of Australian, etc. it's just too hard to move around annually.

In Sydney for instance where would they play? There's only a few stadiums there and only one that's worthwhile and then they clash with the two Sydney clubs.

a 1-off affair like the Super Cup. possible to host in Monaco but the stadium is only 18k in capacity and i have weird memories of a long-haired Colombian raping our defence there

but surely there are few other possible venues. it will globalise the game if the venue keeps moving and gives people of different countries a chance to watch the world's best. South Africa - good facilities, Brazil, Australia, USA are possible venues.

It's not ALWAYS in Japan.

The CWC was held in the United Arab Emirates for 2009 and 2010 editions....and according to FIFA's website, Morocco will be hosting the 2013 & 2014 editions.
