It's been like this for twenty years, why does it seem to be bothering everyone now?

This makes me so happy to know that City won the premiership in Fergie time.

Arsenal 164m 54s

Chelsea 161m 31s

Everton 159m 50s

Aston Villa 159m 14 s

Sunderland 156m 19s

Tottenham 156m 14s

West Brom 153m 18s

QPR 150m 57s

Wolves 150m 42s

Fulham 150m 34s

Liverpool 149m 45s

Swansea 148m 44s

Man City 146m 42s

Do explain how united are second bottom considering they get so so so much injury time?

I actually hate how extra time is given. The first half is always 1 minute and if there's an injury, a red card, or a couple of goals, maybe you'll get 2 minutes. Second half is always 3 or 4 minutes except in rare occasions. I remember reading that the amount of time the ball is actually in play is about 60 minutes in a game. Either way, I actually think extra time should be generally longer than it is. Especially, when you've had 6 changes, 4 bookings, 2 goals, 3 minor injuries, and about 5 minutes of time wasting in a half and then you get 4 minutes of extra time. It's really just a convention that just makes no sense. I'd just rather see more actual football.

By the way, it intrigues me that the last time they lost 2-3 at home (to Blackburn last season) they played away to Newcastle in the next game and lost 3-0. I suggest people watch Sky Sports on Sunday to see what happens when they play Newcastle this time!

Been saying this a long time, they should stop the clock when someone is fouled or the ball goes out of bounds.

No more argueing over unfair extra time, and a lot less players faking injuries, I don't see any downsides for this except an investment in timers like in basketball but if you only use these rules in the topleagues/cups then it's not even a small dent in their budget.

They top the clock in Rugby so why not football? It makes a lot of sense to me, then blow the whistle when it gets to 90 when the ball next goes dead. It worries me that Rugby is so far ahead of football.

But that's stupid because when the other team is winning or want to get the point there just going to boot it out of bounds...

In rugby they only stop the clock for long stoppages not when the ball goes out of play. In football if the clock was stopped each time the

ball went out of play games would last almost FOUR hours

Exactly that way there would be no arguements about how much/little injury time is added on.Would save a hell of a lot of hassel.Annoyly it seems they like to make things way way more complicated
