Pardew signs 8 year deal at NUFC. Seems a bit over the top.

Wow, if they want to bring a new manager in at some point that is gonna be incredibly expensive for them... He has done a good job there, but 8 years is a bit extreme.

Rodgers is another example of a mid table miracle man getting a top job and not knowing what the hell to do.

Anyone who wants Moyes at Chelsea next time we have a managerial vacancy, bare that in mind.

I think you'll find Everton are are a top 7 side and have been for a number of years now, not a mid table side. Rodgers had one decent premier league season where he finished something like 12th, Moyes took a team from relegation candidates to competing for Europe regularly in ten years on a shoe string budget.

Maybe you should bare that in mind.

Im not saying Moyes is not a fantastic manager he is but he is a hero whatever he is does with the board if that makes sense because of his shoestring budget.

If you suddenly got tookover by a owner who backed Moyes with lots of money, suddenly there will be massive expectations for him to deliver and he will in a position that will be complete alien to him.

That's fine, it was just annoying that you suggested Moyes and Rodgers were on a similar level when Moyes is well ahead.

I wasn't at all, sorry if it appeared that way.
