Is it true that Gary Neville and Redknaap said at the half time that the referee should've either sent both of them (Shelvey and Evans) out, show both of them the yellow card or forvige both of them?

Good on Neville if he did.Aint afraid to go against Man U etc...and true really it was 50/50 from both only one was inored.Van Persie had a dodgy moment as well...that was inored.Fair enough maybe Luiz should've been sent off yesterday for his tackle and no doubt that will be brought up but hard to compare that tackle in a different game to ones that happened in the same game that the ref inored

For the Le Arse vs Man Shitty game, in order of preference for Results:

  • Draw
  • Le Arse beat Citeh (since Citeh will be bigger threats)
  • Citeh DESTROY Le Arse and sap them of all confidence ahead of our game with them.

Strong points mate but I'd go with City losing since they're surely gona be the biggest threat when the time comes... Even if Arsenal were top of the table from now until newyear's they'd probably bottle it... so City losing would be best.

We won't make up the 25 point gap on City and United in one season, our focus should be 3rd and the biggest threat to that happening are Arsenal, so i hope they get their arses handed to them today.

Get back above Arsenal and Spurs this season, then we will focus on bringing the Mancs crashing to their knees next term.

Pessimistic are we? I don't think we were as bad as our league position showed last season. I think we can really push for the title. A Striker in January and we will really be in the thick of it.

It is unlikely but it is not impossible. Last year in Italy, everyone kept on saying that Juve can't keep the first spot and it's only a matter of time, until they managed to keep the the first place till the end of the season.

I agree our focus should be on third place, but we must have faith in our team when we're top of the league.

I really don't get this kind of mentality, why couldn't we have a chance of winning the title this year? It's not like either City or United has been in lethal form so far, crushing their opponents every game. And, it is not written in the stones that they will have exactly the same amount of points at the end of the season, so its not like we have to make up all the 25 points..

No one since the premier league began has won the League from a 4th or any below place finish the previous season.

You think were change that stat when we only have one forward who actually shoots?

Im not pessimistic, in terms of the future of this club we are in a better position than ever before, but this season should be about developing a new style, gelling our players and getting back in the Champions League via the domestic route.

#YoullNeverWinAgain

Personally, for selfish reasons I want Arsenal to get thrashed today. Like others are saying, we know City will be there all season so the fewer points Arsenal get in the earlier stages the better. Don't want them confident and riding momentum going into our match.

This reminds me of the Mentality of last season. Didn't our Champions League win teach you anything...?

City will thrash Arsenal why you ask?

1. Silva will own Gibbs

2. Sinclair will murder Jenkinson

3.Yaya Toure will boss the midfield

4.Mertesacker is playing

5.Kompany will be owning Podolski eventhough Podolski is a great player

Rodgers is another example of a mid table miracle man getting a top job and not knowing what the hell to do.

Anyone who wants Moyes at Chelsea next time we have a managerial vacancy, bare that in mind.

I infact think Rodgers is a good coach just unlucky. He has had to play Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd in his first 5 gqames. Out of wich, Agger gifted Man City a draw with that back pass and Hasley gifted Man Utd a win on the platter. Nothing a manager could do.
