capriccioso 2,545
Deschamps on Lloris—"Hugo didn't appreciate what his manager AVB said the other day about him being behind Friedel in the pecking order"So basically AVB just bought one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and even before giving the new signing his debut he has already made him unhappy by planning to keep him as backup to Brad fucking Friedel? Keep going AVB, you're doing a great job! :lol:Funny because he's at Spurs. If it were anyone else I'd actually feel sorry for AVB. At Tottenham I cheer his every mistake. Tomo 21,751
AVB is starting to make me look like a mug for defending him.I wanted him to stay initially because he would learn from the mistakes he made, that doesn't look like happening any time soon. warnie_666 1,081
He is one stubborn character this guy. When at Chelsea I wished he just shut up and get on with his job. He used to get provoked by every small thing in the media and the media loved to provoke him. He pissed off everyone around him and go the boot. No disrespect to Brad but he's 41, he should be told by AVB that you are now number 2, we have a new number 1. I'm guessing the order will change inside the season tho at some point. It should anyway. Sheva.
robdog 2,084
I am sure Andy Carroll is hella happy is not in l'puke atm. Especially since wet spam are in the Top 10 & l'puke in the relegation zone If I was him, I would make damn sure that Rodgers gets a Xmas card. Tomo 21,751
Assuming Friedel makes way for Lloris at some point this campaign, Tottenham will have three former Premier League number 1's sitting out.
Tomo 21,751
I have to say Wenger is out of this world!Call me a goonie fan, but I don't know how Wenger does it.Time after time, he's team gets rip apart yet he manages to stay in top 4.I really think if Wenger had the money that managers like Mourinho and currently RDM have at their disposal, we might have seen a completely ownaged from that team!Looking at the players he has had in 15 years at Arsenal, 3 PL titles and 4 FA Cup's is massively underachieving. Not to mention only getting past the CL quarter's twice. robdog

That middle aged American showed why the captain of France will most probably play second fiddle until next season. You'll then understand why Hugo is the Captain of France and one of the best keepers in the world. TorontoChelsea

It unsettles the dynamics of the dressing room. I think Lloris will get a fair few games this season but AVB will probably give Brad his final season as Spurs number 1. The one good thing he has done at Twattenham (and arguably in his entire time in the PL) which is buy a keeper that will be world class and he does this. He is socially akward to say the least. Rowan_Osborn 58
What I am find very hilarious is the fact that le arse just scored for the first time this season & beat a bottom of the table side, now they can win the league I will continue to laugh @ le arse & their failure to win anything. If you like to watch financial figures, then le arse is the side for you. If you like to see a team take a risk & actually win something, the CFC is the side for you.I dont understand why people are debating the outcome of the season after three games. Its not worth looking into until about december really. TorontoChelsea
