Their very important players like Walker, Stones, Foden, Silva, Dias or Rodri may go all the way to EURO final plus Alvarez on Copa and going for vacation later when they return late they won't be up to usual speed. I was thinking this too. Good time to play City first up. We have just Mudryk, Cucu, Caicedo, Enzo who are playing a serious part in continentals + its good that the next few fixtures after City are easier. Gundalf 806
Nothing to lose here really. Also, City will probably beat us no matter of the gameweek we play them, so its better to have this once out of the way when we are still finding chemistry. City beat us once this past year quite controversially as well as in the cup we should have had a penalty for handball

Liverpool under Klopp had a similar approach. Under Maresca's controlled football, its a complete mystery. Could be like under Sarri the 2-0 win, or also like Sarri the 0-6 defeat... Pep always has the upper hand when up against teams that try to go toe to toe with him. Edited June 18, 2024 by MoroccanBlue

I’d like to feel with the new manager we will be better defensively than we were under Poch Vesper

He has surprised me how often he has played but I don’t think his performances were quite as good as the treble winning season. Stones injuries probably played a bit in him playing as often the season just passed but he has definitely done better than I’d expect. Probably would of had a nightmare here regardless though just the rule of thumb. Will get another good look at him today in the Euro game v Scotland where we will probably make him look like prime Maldini too 😂 Edited June 19, 2024 by OneMoSalah LAM09

I'd love to be proven wrong, though. Edited June 19, 2024 by LAM09

KEVINAA 129
This Leeds United Archie Gray situation has angered LUFC fan channels on YouTube.
