PGMOL admits their mistake.

Apparently the VAR official thought that the goal was ALLOWED by the on-field referee, and told them to get on with the game. Hence why they didn't bother to correct the incorrect offside ruling

Can't make this up. Every time they pull something new out of their arse.

At this point I'm inclined to believe that the PL actually endorses their fuckups just so that the league becomes more 'entertaining'

I don't think people mind mistakes but you have to be consistent.   If the call is for offside by the sideline ref then VAR has to follow the same process every single game (i.e. draw the offside lines, check the player for offside and make the call). 

I actually liked the VAR software they used at the world cup and they're also using a similar one in Serie A.  

Feels like the current VAR setup in the Premier League is just to give a job to the referee's mates.

well the question then is, why did they not correct their mistake? As soon as the ref goes on with the match, they reach out and say that they made a mistake and the goal was valid. Hardly the first time the game is paused at an awkward moment. Really weird one tbh.

Unreal, whole time during the Jones thing I thought he has to go because of Gusto, but the incorrect call/cock up for not even drawing the line is just beyond crazy, said it time and time again, VAR is ridiculous, as is smirking Howard Webb making an absolute mint.

If I make that error at work, I'm gone, I can't come out and apologise. Costing teams points.

So what’s the reason actually he is not playing for Forest? Two months ago he was going to be starter, Barcelona was going to buy him for 60 million and he debuted Selecao.. What’s the deal then? These Sangare/Mangala guys are better than him? They are completely different profile? Cooper doesn’t want to rely on loan players?

cooper is a nothing tin pot manager, just wanted some cheap depth and took advantage of us. probably wants experience and players they actually own
