7 points for Liverpool after playing Chelsea and Newcastle away - not bad at all

Did seriously well today to hang on. Liverpool have begrudgingly got a good team - only defense is a question mark

yup liverpool has so much quality up front right now and not enough CM/DMs. Talk about CBs, but I don't remember last time Alexander-Arnold was playing well; so many mistakes in his game, and not doing enough going forward.

Newcastle is a very defense-minded team. They are "easier" to play at home because they aren't very good attacking esp when their very slow backline has to move up. Away from home, well it's a different story as they can play deeper, defend well, and explore counters. And yeah, they lack quality in attack big time... wouldn't bet on them going top4 again this season unless they add 1-2 quality attackers before the window shuts.

So annoying that all United, City and Liverpool should lose points this week but they didn't.

United and Liverpool have been dogshit for the majority of all their matches so far and yet sit on 7 points. United especially have been horrendous in all 3 matches.

It’s super annoying that almost every single time we make errors they lead to goals and losses yet United and Liverpool can play like shit, make schoolboy errors, and even go down to 10 men and the other teams choke and lose.

Just have to hope they start getting punished over the season for their subpar performances.

"finding a way to win a match" when you play like shit is down to individual quality; liverpool has it. Salah's "quiet" game today included a nice exchange for the first, and an assist for the second.

Darwin and Jota did very coming off the bench esp Darwin obviously. Gakpo hasn't really settled.
