That time there was mitigating circumstances, we were juggling multiple competitions while they in the three and a half months prior only had the league to bother about.

Next week we will have had 8 days off (effectively as we can half arse Wednesday) while they have today and have a top spot to play for Thursday. No excuses.

Yep, I actually was relieved they lost to PSV in week as now some of the players from their best 11 will start Thursday. If they had won that and had been guaranteed top spot, I genuinely was fearing next Sunday but now with them needing to guarantee top spot and Saka getting injured today gives me more hope. Albeit Nelson stepped up in his absence and scored 2 and assisted. Perfect game though to motivate us to get some form back and revenge against a bogey team in recent seasons.

Even if they somehow miraculously rise to the occasion, we know in a few weeks time the same players will dish out the same inconsistent performances.

No cause here is the beauty of it. After Arsenal we have City in the cup midweek then Newcastle then World Cup! Didn't think would welcome the break but now...

Arsenal actually have balance and a proper midfield.

Absolute mindfuck considering how the tables were turned the opposite way this time last year. We were on top and they were in the mud.

Fuck the UK government that basically shot us at point blank to kill our prospects this season.

Just shows how important patience is. Some Arsenal fans were calling for Allegri this time last year. And now look were they are and were Allegri is.

Which is exactly why I was surprised at some of the reactions on here to Tuchel, and now Potter.
