Vesper 30,207
not all sold on this part of the Arse side bold is oki Ben White Gabriel Magalhães William Saliba (potentially can work out, need to see more) Rob Holding Kieran Tierney (far too often injured) Oleksandr Zinchenko (I would use him as a holding MFer) Takehiro Tomiyasu Cédric Soares Thomas Partey Granit Xhaka Mohamed Elneny Albert Sambi Lokonga
LAM09 7,061
As expected, Arsenal stumbled at the first notable hurdle. Arteta's poorly timed triple substitution cost them.
Pizy 18,940
Wonder how sustainable United’s “play shit and still win” football is. They’ve been pretty subpar in every one of these 4 straight wins and were comfortably outplayed today yet still won 3-1. I think once the season goes on they’ll struggle against teams that can smother any of their trademark counters since that appears to be their only real source of goal threat still. Still, United are done being the utter embarrassment that they have been in recent years. They’re a competent team now. Just incredibly boring at the moment. Tottenham is boring. United have now transformed into this hard working team with players that work for each other. Their shortcomings IMO, are just the lack of a good CM to compliment Casemiro (but even Fred and McTominay can do the donkey work in midfield and entrust Bruno and Eriksen to be creative), and good CB options on the bench. No team would like to resort to bringing Maguire off the bench to protect a lead.
MoroccanBlue 5,383
Thought it was refreshing to see a team that delivered as many through balls as United. Always looked forward vs passing it backwards until De Gea or the CBs are caught under pressure.
Gundalf 806
Its funny how social media were bantering United and Chelsea for having such a bad start to the season and now both are above Liverpool.
