Even under these circumstances, we should beat Watford, Burnley and Leeds much more casually instead of playing finals with them.

Much of our matcher are finals - 2X Southamton , 2X Villa , Watford , Leeds , Burnley ,  West Ham , 2X Zenit , Newcastle (60mins)  , Brentford ......

Exactly. All these games were tight.  We had 6 shots on goal vs Leeds - 2 of them pens, and a marginally better xG vs them. City had 15 on target vs them.

When everyone is fit, we have a very competitive knockout game team. But we are far off- especially in attack - with what Liverpool, City have. Have to keep at it and hope there are more slipups because both Liverpool and City look free-scoring right now.

Arsenal dominating West Ham, we deserve our fate though if you waste all that money away on Lukaku.

Your hate boner for Lukaku is really full on. I don't know if I have ever read a positive post from you? He is a part of our squad. He has not been great but as long as he wears the badge, I will want him to succeed.

Still hilarious to look at the top of the table and see the top 3 with massive goal differences and Arse in 4th with a goal difference of 0.

We're approaching Christmas and the team about to head 4th has a zero GD and got hammered a combined 11-0 to the three teams above them.

Other league's are laughed at for a lot less. We may not be perfect but the teams below us are poverty.

Lukaku definitely has not meshed with our squad’s attack. I do hope that Tuchel finds a way to incorporate him into the attack. I do agree he is a defensive liability, but I do think he has qualities that can help us on attack. He does collect the ball and distribute it quickly when his first touch doesn't fail him. I think there is good that can come from him depending on who we are playing. It is disappointing that he has not been able to bully smaller teams like everyone thought he would.

Arsenal have quietly crept up! Know dodgy goal difference and quality wise but as it stands only 7 behind. Shows how quickly it can all change seeing their start was so poor

Still not bothered by them at all yet.

Yep but Tottenham now have 3 games in hand of them. United have a game in hand. TBH, Arsenal have no excuses to be not fighting for top 4. They have no Europa to focus on. Were the biggest spenders this summer and there are good players there. Should work to their advantage. We got top 4 in Lamps first season in charge here with a transfer ban and with the players we had at our disposal, was a fantastic achievement.

Leicester and Spurs have 15 players combined with Covid. Both teams asked for game to be postponed FA says no. But for others OK.

FA forcing it now. Inevitable that football will be suspended soon. No actual proof that the new variant causes any significant health damage, however it is more transmissible, which means more players will continue to contract it, especially without a lockdown.

It's off..and Man U vs Brighton called off Saturday as well

Southampton v Brentford, Watford v Crystal Palace and West Ham United v Norwich City on Saturday are gone.

So too is Sunday's game between Everton and Leicester.
