I know a lot of people think Conte wouldn’t lower himself to Arse’s level, but if they sack Arteta this week and beg him to rescue them I think he might do it. A chance to bring back a “sleeping giant” who’s in crisis. He’d be a hero.

And just as I’m typing this City score again! 😂

Don’t you find City a bit boring now? First couple of seasons under Pep they were a dynamo and they really were a joy to watch. But I guess it is not ‘cool’ anymore?

Not for me, I enjoy their play in games like this, I don't find Pep as tactically reactive as most pundits will say though. In fairness, I like watching their games and inter-change of play without a recognised striker. Torres' movement is brilliant to watch.

If they had a time machine and said "we will give you the £130m to spend" rather than spunking it on youth signings, I think he might well have taken the job.

Most people expected Arsenal to lose to us and City, but the manner in defeat is embarrassing. I was always happy with Arsenal keeping him because I always thought he was out his depth. 3 games played where they could have a GD of -10 and no goals scored. But you know they probably will keep him.

I find them incredibly boring to watch without De Bruyne in their side. They play slow, walking pace football with a thousand short passes. It’s an incredibly skilled and effective machine but they aren’t really that exciting without KdB pulling the strings.

Feel sorry for Arteta.. Based on Arsenal brand name, everybody expect to be top6 team, but he is forced to start with Kolasinac-Holding-Chambers back three.. Burnley level names..

They have some proven and promising attackers, but defense department is awful.

When Arse are actually able to retain the ball in attacking areas they aren’t woeful. They’ve got some pretty nice attacking talent. They started decently against us and here against City for a few minutes. But their midfield and entire defense is shambolic.

If they sack Arteta and give a proper manager a couple of windows to rebuild the defense they could be pushing in the 4th-5th range. But they’d still be years away from challenging the big 4.

Problem is, they just spunked 130m on extremely average players who a new manager may not fancy. Now they’d have to start another rebuild.

He was not forced. He decided to loan out a £27m signing in Saliba and not trust him. Not buying that.
