The pitch was in terrible condition, so I thought maybe that could have been Tranmere's "equalizer" or "weapon" against United to cause a shock or maybe I just believed too much into the pre-match buildup hype. But really though, how the hell do a team allow 3 of the opposition's 4 defenders to score?!

You say as if Liverpool aren't used to the knockout stages of European competitions. Klopp doesn't really seem to bother about the League Cup or FA Cup (he has never gone past R4 in the latter). Has always fielded a weak side and now, he's gotta a replay to deal with...

Its not about being use to it but they will lack the same sheer sharpness they had last year when every single match was crucial. I know people will say it may be good they can rest players for the league but if it was that straight forward Bayern and PSG would have been sharing the trophy between them ever since we won it. Out of all the English finalist's in CL era, all of them went to minimum the penultimate weekend of the season with either the title or top 4 at stake.

Liverpool can afford what six slip ups and still be top in the league, to go from that much room for error to being thrust back into a situation where as much as one minor mistake can be fatal is a lot more difficult mentally than people acknowledge.

But it's not like Liverpool have been winning 4-0, 5-0 etc in every game. They have been winning but most of the games have been pretty close and I don't even think Liverpool are showing the lack of competitiveness or sharpness like PSG do in Ligue 1. Otherwise they wouldn't have dropped just 2 points all season! Besides, Liverpool have a game coming up in midweek.

Maybe not but whether subconsciously or not there still won't be that intense pressure if they're drawing 1-1 to lose a lead from 16 to 14 points than there would be if they were losing to Atletico with 20 minutes to go, all of a sudden they're thrust into a situation they haven't been in for yonks whereas Leti are currently in am every point matters situation domestically.

But it's not like Liverpool have been defending every game and not done any attacking, is it? They have played lots of games this season, have a few injuries - notably to Mane. Why risk your first team players in a cup game, on a potentially poor pitch when the CL is just a few weeks away? With the way they have been operating, Klopp does seem to have instill the mentality into them where they can just do both sides of the game comfortably.

They will likely beat Atletico because they are simply better than Atletico right now. Atletico may be fighting for every result at the moment but they haven't been playing great and have struggled to score goals all season.

I wonder how delusional must United fans be to think they will get 3 figures for Pogba, guy is a 60-70 mil player in this market, nobody will pay more than that for him not even Real or Juventus.

and you know I have to chirp up with my usual, lololol

he turns 28 next season

so whoever buys him only gets 2 full sub 30yo seasons out of him

I would say he has 3, maybe 4 (lean towards 4 IF he stays healthy) full peak years left

Manure are insane to think they will get £150m

If the FA Cup wasn't disrespected enough nowadays.

The line up for Villa in the EFL Cup was one thing, but he/Liverpool should face some sort of repercussion for effectively throwing their toys out of the pram for slipping up (providing this comes to fruition).

Pep goes hard for EVERY trophy

he won them all at Barca, and came so close to pulling a Sextuple linearly

Klopp is really disappointing me

the EFL was not his fault (insane to schedule games on basically the same day)

but this shit is just a punk ass move

if they toss it (the FA Cup) it is impossible to call them better than Manure's Treble side, do not care about regular EPL in a super shite EPL year, plus United won the old Intercontinental Cup in 1999 (there was no FWCC until 2000, which they made too, but lost, and then it poofed until 2005, though they did win it in 2008)

hell I so so SO hope they get knocked out of the CL too!!!!!

they could have won SEVEN trophies this season

they may walk with only 3 (Super Cup (barely), FWCC (barely), and EPL and that Super Cup should have been ours, goddamn pens again, grrrr)

they end up like that (and especially if they lose some EPL games, like 2 or 3 or even 4)

and NO WAY will I call them best EPL side ever, ZERO CHANCE

how the FUCK can this murderous CUNT be allowed to buy an English football team!!!!!

Rafa Benitez is being targeted to make a sensational return as Newcastle manager.

The former Toon boss features in proposals by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman who is trying to buy the club for £340million (A$653m). He is working on a return for Benitez, who quit after three years last summer, and that would mean the end for Steve Bruce.

The next day, Middle East Eye reported that, according to an anonymous Turkish source, the killing took about seven minutes and forensic specialist Salah Muhammed al-Tubaigy, who had brought along a bone saw,[78] cut Khashoggi's body into pieces while Khashoggi was still alive, as he and his colleagues listened to music.[79] The source further claimed that "Khashoggi was dragged from consul general Mohammad al-Otaibi's office at the Saudi consulate ... Tubaigy began to cut Khashoggi's body up on a table in the study while he was still alive," and "There was no attempt to interrogate him. They had come to kill him."[78]

'Fit and proper persons' rule obviously only applies to some....

It seems there's a  battle royale going on between Arabs and Jews to be the main owners.

If you look into the history of the owners, it's very, very, very difficult to find one that hasn't a shady history. From our own, to the Glazers to West Ham. West Hams owners made the bulk of their money from such salubrious tomes as 'Big Tits Monthly' and 'Asian Babes'. Vile individuals

With his business partner, David Gold, Sullivan's first venture was selling soft pornography photos. They expanded into sex shops, adult magazines and several low-budget blue movies, making Sullivan a millionaire by the age of 25.[4] By the late 1970s, he was in control of half of the UK adult magazine market, including major titles such as Playbirds and Whitehouse,[5] 80% of the adult mail order market, and 150 shops.

In the late 1970s, he produced several low-budget British sex movies including Come Play with Me (1977) (directed by Harrison Marks). This was followed by The Playbirds (1978), Confessions from the David Galaxy Affair (1979) and Queen of the Blues (1979), all starring his then-girlfriend Mary Millington. After Millington's suicide in August 1979 he continued with Mary Millington's True Blue Confessions (1980) and Emmanuelle in Soho (1981).

In 1982, Sullivan was convicted of living off immoral earnings of prostitutes. He successful appealed and was released after serving 71 days in prison.

David Gold was brought up in East London at 442 Green Street near to West Ham's Boleyn Ground. He played youth team football for West Ham.[2] His father, Godfrey,[3] was an East End criminal, known locally as 'Goldy', who spent time in prison during Gold's early years.[4] His father was Jewish,[3][5][6] whereas his mother was a Christian.

keepin' it classy!!!
